My self-summary
Basically I'm your average 20-something somewhat geeky, endearing, adventurous, laid-back, ambitious "artist" trying to survive the post-collegiate life.

Wow that was a mouthful...
What I’m doing with my life
I went to Penn State for musical performance and I teach several student private lessons as well as play in a couple of local orchestras. Ideally I'd love to go out to LA and perform for film and television scores.

Right now I'm going down the stereotypical not so starving artist thing waiting tables and saving up money before I can fulfill my dream of performing full time.
I’m really good at
I slappa da bass and can play a couple of other instruments. I'm also fairly competent in the kitchen making everything from Homebrewed IPAs to French baguettes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite books: Harry Potter, A Song of Ice and Fire, Ender's Game, Fight Club. I'm always looking for new books to read if you have any recommendation I'd love to hear them.

Movies: Anything Mel Brooks (Spaceballs 2 can't come any sooner), Star Wars (original and the new), Shaun of the Dead, Superbad, Anything Darren Aronofsky, The Godfather, Waiting

TV Shows: Game of Thrones, Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, Modern Family, Deadwood, Dexter, Party Down, Battlestar Galactica, Netflix

Music: Pretty much anything and everything except country. Justice, Queen, Andrew Bird, Michael Jackson, Muse, Cage the Elephant, The Beatles, and many many more. I miss the days when everyone had an extensive itunes collection, now it's all Pandora this and Spotify that.
The six things I could never do without
My bass
My cell phone (what the hell did we do before smart phones?!?)
My friends
Traveling around the world
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why working in the restaurant industry has spoiled me in regards to wine; I can no longer enjoy two buck chuck (although outside of that, Trader Joe's has the best wine deals!)
On a typical Friday night I am
Why is Friday the quintessential day to be? Honestly I'm most likely working on Friday. But on my days off, I enjoy going hiking, making some homebrew beer, playing various PC games and enjoying all of the little moments in life that we like to take for granted.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Uhh probably like everyone else that they made an OkCupid account :)
