My self-summary
I'm a SoCal raised guy who moved to SF in the past couple of years. I'm taking full advantage of SF's extraordinary outdoor scene.

I'm a kind, loyal and honest person to those around me which apparently makes me an ISFJ/Defender archetype.

I love doing anything that's outdoors, underwater or with a small, close-knit group of friends.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a Development Director in the software industry. I have the pleasure of helping super talented and ambitious people solve their problems.

In my spare time, I do pro bono work at a solar power startup. I hope I can help make the world a better place for the next generation.

For fun, I can be found hiking up in North Bay, shooting archery in Golden Gate Park, reading by the ocean and occasionally scuba diving in far off tropical locales. :)
I’m really good at
...making people laugh! The easiest way to be happy is to surround yourself with happy people.
The first things people usually notice about me
My goofy smile!

Apparently I smile at my own jokes like Jimmy Fallon. Not sure if my friends meant that as a compliment or an insult.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love reading John Scalzi, Raymond Feist, Malcolm Gladwell, John Grisham and James Rollins.

In my world the bad guys always lose and the good guys always win. That's the way things should be! :) That's why I like shows with happy endings like Lord of the Rings, Enchanted, Chuck, The West Wing, Criminal Minds and Bones.

Music-wise, I love ballads that tell a strong, positive story like Taylor Swift's "Love Story" and Ed Sheeran's "Photograph". I also like musicals like Les Mis, Wicked or Phantom of the Opera.

My favorite food type is probably seafood. I'm mildly allergic to shellfish, but I eat it anyways because it's awesome and sometimes swollen lips, incessant sneezing and teary eyes is a small price to pay for deliciousness.
Six things I could never do without
Family/Friends: They're the rock that I lean on when the going gets tough. I guess this counts for 2?
Challenges: I loved being pushed to excel in new things.
Cell Phone: I have the direction sense of a demented wombat without Google Maps on my phone.
Chocolate: 70% Dark is perfection.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
It's a little cliche, but I really do mean it when I say I want to learn and grow every day. I want to be a better person today than I was yesterday, and to be a better person tomorrow than I am today.

Life is too short to not to do so!
On a typical Friday night I am
...getting dinner and either catching a movie or playing board games (Citadels and Love Letter are my current favorites right now) with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
A random stranger complemented me on my archery! I'm basically Hawkeye. AMA.
You should message me if
...you love spending time outdoors, under the trees, the sun or the surf.
...you love to sing...or at least won't judge me (too harshly!) when I'm singing in the car. :)

And perhaps most important of all, you burn with ambition and passion for something and are looking for someone to share that fire with. Ambition and passion are sexy!
