My self-summary
My apologies, my profile remains under construction. I was sidetracked by these fascinating questions on my first encounter with this site and never paid proper attention to it because of my real life busy state of affairs. I thought that I would see to all of this quite soon , but wanted to write something accurate and heartfelt when I had more time.

Now I've discovered that most ladies (not just men !!) barely pay attention to the written portions of this quiz ! I could write Shakespeare here and no one would notice !!

Also, my snoopy pic is one of my favs ! I loved that biplane !
It belongs to my past and loved life and pursuing it in the open air !! On my computer , it enlarges, but I do see the point about my sunglasses. On the other hand, being from Seattle for 25 years, my eyes no longer try to struggle against the "day star" in the sky. Therefore, all of my fun outdoor pics have my eyes covered.

I had other g-rated pics up previously that the wizards here took off !! I guess they don't like men in sunglasses (?!?).
What if Stevie Wonder had a profile ??!!
What I’m doing with my life
Here's a bit about me:

~ I am confident and at ease with myself that on our first date I will ask about you and talk about yourself in equal measure.

~ I am sincerely happy for you and your successful career

~I'm not a father, but I understand that having a child influences your worldview profoundly.

~ I didn't exaggerate my height in my profile. I realize as soon as we meet the cat's out of the bag. I am cute, but not a nordic god ;-)

~ I have felt heart-crushing pain. This is not about suffering or living with hurt from the past. This is about being an adult. I stayed there for as long as I had to and then moved on. You are at least as resilient as I am and that makes me like you even more.

~I know the difference between participating in a string of fun activities and seeking a life of happiness and joy. But that's not to say that enjoying a string of fun activities is all bad either ;-) !

~I know that the best way to end an argument is to lean in close, brush your hair to the side, kiss my way up your neck, arriving at your ear with a whisper of, "You're right." Of course I managed this so deftly that you've long forgotten what the argument was about and can think now only of the tingling from your toes to the top of your head.
I’m really good at
dressing for the occasion, being friendly, selecting wines, trying new things, staying in touch with people who are important to me, placing apostrophes appropriately, writing parallel sentences, driving my stick shift on hills, mixing a martini, framing out a wall, making bad puns, keeping plants alive, unloading the dishwasher, diving into a plate of steak and mash potatoes, reading a map, fixing cracks in the drywall, keeping track of my keys, power tools, analyzing films, flying through the air, working hard, staying up late.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eye patch and peg leg. Yarragggh !!!

(yes, I know...I should've wriiten the rest of my profile in "pirate"
but then again, there aren't many gutteral sounds can I type in repeatedly for answers)

Six things I could never do without
I'm a hoarder. I can't list six hundred things much less only six !
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How oddly this site and other online dating venue algorithms work.

well... no, not really I don't spend that much time thinking about these things. However, I do dwell on those things that don't square up.

1) The little red , yellow, and green dots up in the corner that represent how often people trade messages, actually are rather inaccurate and seem randomly assigned !

2) How can we be 80% matched and 90% friends; or 90% matched and 40% enemies ?? Etc... I can understand simple stats like 80% match 20 % enemy. My poor simple mind !

3) Composite of OKC dating attempts from my OKC diary:
Days 20-99ish: (scratching head) Not really sure what happened. Summary:
A) "Ping ! Interested?"
B) "Interested, wow!"
A) "Wow back at you!"
B) "Decent conversation, laughter, flattery, increasing impression of closeness, desire to spend time expressed."
A) "Reciprocated, agreed, more?"
B) "More! Soon?!"
A) "YES!!"
B) "Great! Again!"
A) "Call. Wait. Wait. Wait. Tentative email inquiry? Wait. Wait."
A) Scratching head. Disappointed, confused. Hiatus, return. Sigh.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
1) I'm GGG
(ref Dan Savage)
2) I actually don't know how to speak Occitan
You should message me if
1) Mysterious profiles with a hint of sarcasm and whimsey appeal to you.
2) You find my "handle" more humorous than suggestive
