My self-summary
As a youngster I was the curious child who had to try everything (much to my mother's chagrin), and not much has changed - I want to experience life while encouraging others to be themselves and find their way to "step out and step up". Whether I'm directing theater, performing, teaching a class, leading worship, or giving a Reiki session - it's all about experiencing and expressing the wonders of our world.

I'm looking for friends and a partner who is confident and positive, knows what they want out of life, but isn't so fixed on the details of how that looks. Someone who looks for the good in others, appreciates the benefits of a healthy relationship (you are you, I am me; we relate) and can balance his own interests and obligations with time together.

While my friends would say I'm one of the hardest working people they know, I'm not opposed to having a good time. I won't give you all the details here, but I guess the best way to sum it up would be work hard, play hard, love hard.
What I’m doing with my life
Like many young professionals, I'm passionate about my work. I'm lucky to have been able to have a steady career in an area of life-long study (music) and I work for several organizations in addition to heading a non-profit. I have been blessed by many generous people in my life, and I feel that it's an honor and responsibility to pass on that generosity by giving of my time and talents.
I’m really good at
Creating, expressing, teaching, listening.
The first things people usually notice about me
Depends on the context. Some say my work ethic, sometimes it's the eyes or the smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I really like to read books that expand my knowledge - whether it's a do-it-yourself guide, or philosophy & esoteric spirituality, or perhaps a book of poetry.

Movies: Classics (GWTW, All About Eve, Fred & Ginger, A Star is Born), Period Dramas, romantic comedies, horror (as long as it isn't too gruesome).

Shows: Hart to Hart (a childhood favorite that I think stands the test of time - Stefanie Powers rocks!), Orange is the New Black, Buffy, Sex and the City, Fringe, Game of Thrones, Glee, Modern Family, Carnivale, Rome, Damages, Revenge, American Horror Story, 30 Rock, Hannibal

Music: Just about everything (being a musician). Not a big fan of heavy metal, country or rap, though I can appreciate it when done well and with intention.

Food: Ethnic, particularly Thai, Korean and Indian. Also love European cuisines - French, Italian, and eastern European.
Six things I could never do without
Good Food
Friends (and family)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whatever I happen to be listening to on Audible or studying at the moment.
On a typical Friday night I am
Playing the piano at synagogue services. After services, nothing is typical - I keep things random in my downtime.
You should message me if
- you want to get to know me and do me:)
- you are comfortable with yourself, but appreciate that healthy connections can make life much more enjoyable.
