My self-summary
I feel at the same time constantly in flux and yet the same as I was when I was 8. I am a cynical old man who is occasionally struck by the mad beauty of the world. I want to be Jim Morrison, but it turns out I'm too square.

Really, my summation of myself changes on a fairly frequent basis, and I have no desire to keep a journal here. I like learning new things, and I like examining the minutiae of everyday life. I like situations where I have to step out of myself or have a fairly certain goal in sight. For example, I like to dance, but I want there to be some underlying structure.
What I’m doing with my life
My life is in flux. More details on request.
I’m really good at
Proofreading. Goading grammar Nazis into pointing out the flaws in my profile I've likely overlooked.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. They can range from bright blue to green to gray depending on my mood and the weather. I've been told they're piercing and sinister, but they were probably just flirting with me.

Six things I could never do without
Love, Purpose, Sex, Passion, Food and Water
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future, population genetics, the buddhist lifestyle, flow cytometry, space ships, music, meaning, my hopes and dreams, the hopes and dreams of others, weakness, strength, money, sex, the interplay of power, finding a niche into which I fit, everything and anything. I'm a little addicted to wikipedia and the way I can find out all about the (fictional) history of the necronomicon the moment my curiosity is stirred.
On a typical Friday night I am
If I had a typical activity, I wouldn't do it just to be contrary.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can admit anything you can get the balls to ask me; I'm not a very reticent person. Want proof? Just ask.
You should message me if
You've read this far down without skipping. Or just for the hell of it, I think that's a pretty good reason to do most things.
The two of us
