My self-summary
What would it be like to have a partner with a vivid imagination, who is affectionate, intuitive and adept at helping you feel deeply loved and desired? A woman who knows how to give and receive in all interactions. Imagine being with a woman who is fascinated with life...never bored or high maintenance and is open to new adventures. Someone who is both a night owl and morning glory. A woman who is a wonderful traveling companion both on the road of life and actual destination journeys and who wants to experience both with you. Someone who has learned over the years to be independent and responsible for her own choices, without feeling like she needs someone to complete her and yet welcomes true partnership. A seasoned woman who has had world enough and time enough to know how to share pleasure with the right partner. Someone who has done and continues to do her own inner work and doesn't expect someone to fix or save her. She has learned that love is a dance; each taking turns leading and the other willingly moves with the music. There is trust that the other person has your back, is on your team and at your side and vice versa.

Together with her you can make magic happen. Consider the side effects of being with such a woman....a secret smile as you wake up next to her, wearing a goofy grin for the rest of the day, runaway happiness, a sense of might find yourself singing and whistling, smiling at strangers, really getting to know the man in the mirror, being the best you, grateful for each day. You just might be asking, "Where has she been all my life? How did I get to be so lucky?" She would be asking herself the same questions about you. When you are with each other, people will look at the two of you and think "I'll have what they're having."

My family and friends are my treasures. Even after romantic relationships have shifted gears, I remain friends with most former partners. I've learned that love is never wasted. I have an ever widening circle of kindred spirits that cross my path daily. Friends consider me a 'connector'. I think of myself as a Resource Queen, Renaissance Woman and Bliss Mistress who dives into life experiences with an open heart and curious mind. Love philosophical discussions. Enjoy snuggling and massage. Can be high energy or still and meditative. I am politically way left of center, support same sex marriage and as a minister, offiiciate at weddings for loving couples, regardless of orientation. "Love is love is love" is a value I hold dear; it's about the person, not the plumbing, that counts in loving relationships. I call myself a "tree hugging, gracefully aging hippie" who has participated in all kinds of marches and rallies. As a career social worker, I have a particular desire to help empower those who may be disenfranchised. I'm inspired by people who are resilient thrivers, since I am one as well. If we meet, I'll tell you what that's about.

I am physically active and enjoy my workouts at the gym. Usually, there 3-4 times a week. I have returned to cycling and am prepping to run a 5k.

I feel that I have been preparing for a partner as he has been preparing for me. The one who will touch my heart for a lifetime is open hearted and open minded. Loves to be one on one with me and enjoys time with friends/family....his, mine and ours together. He takes care of his healthy body, mind, and spirit. He continues to do his own inner and outer healing work. If he was in a heart-felt relationship, he is ready to love again, full out! He loves himself enough to be willing to receive the love I have to offer and enthusiastically and passionately offers it in return.

He would like to collaborate in teaching, writing and doing healing work. He is affectionate in word and action. He is smoke, drug and alcohol-free (or at least, only rare alcohol use) Knows that he can enjoy life with senses fully awake. Lives juicy! Well-read and curious about how life works. Politically liberal. Wants to share in all areas of our lives. Co-operative, rather than competitive. Spiritual, without neccessarily being religious. Eco-conscious. Practices tantra or open to learning what it is really about. Practices yoga or willing to learn. I've found that it makes me flexible in all areas of my life:) Financially responsible and living in prosperity consciousness.. Ready for the adventure of a lifetime! Yoga, tantra, dancing, drumming, music, reading, meditation, being in nature and writing all feed my soul.

Widowed 18 years ago, I have loved some wonderful men and made some dear friends as a result. I welcome an available (in body, mind, and spirit) partner who is comfortable with his own Divine Masculine energy that he relishes a woman who celebrates her Divine Feminine energy. I am a communicator by nature and training. In my experience, a healthy, loving, long lasting relationship has at its core, deep friendship. Welcoming a man who can handle the magical energy of a woman truly in touch with her own power (not overpowering) and confidence without dancing away.

I enjoy giving and receiving massage and am an insatiable cuddler. I facilitate a workshop called Cuddle Party

Reading each other poetry (particularly Rumi and Hafiz) and sharing what we have written would be delightful.

Looking forward to transcendent experiences. Wanting to explore the depths of what sacred intimacy can be.

I am loving, creative, and passionate and am open to adventure. Are you my traveling companion?
What I’m doing with my life
My spiritual practice is eclectic; part of my work is as an interfaith minister. Other hats I wear...freelance journalist, author, therapist, creative guide, radio show host, massage and reiki practitioner, speaker and clown. These are both my right livelihood and my joys. I am on the path like all of us, open to seeing what arrives each day. Maybe today it will be you :)

A 20 year life- dream- into -reality experience came July 17, 2008 when I had the opportunity to interview the Dalai Lama when he spoke in Philadelphia. It showed me the power of intention, persistence and surrender and never, ever giving up on dreams:)

My first book is called The Bliss Mistress Guide To Transforming The Ordinary Into The Extraordinary guides people to live their bliss FULL OUT! I was told by friends that if I was going to be teaching other people to do this, I had better be doing it myself(:

I am working as a therapist in an outpatient counseling practice, as well as teach and write articles on the subjects of psychology, addiction, wellness, relationships, spirituality, and sexuality. I'm not in this for casual encounters, but for the long and lovely ride.

My desire is to be with a Life Partner who will be in the same or related fields and willing to travel and teach and write together. We are a team in all ways as we are in a mutually supportive, completely satisfying relationship. Although the little boxes to check below don't have this option offered, I see myself in a long-term relationship growing into marriage.
I’m really good at
Loving with my whole heart and soul. Writing, communicating, massage and energy work, teaching. Highly intuitive. Great at manna-festing my heart's desires. Helping people feel at home and at ease. Improvising life as it shows up. I used to say that I was a problem solver and now I see myself as a solution finder. Making new friends.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile. My green eyes that sometimes turn blue. My playful nature. My open heart. My loving energy. My hugs.

Six things I could never do without
Besides the obvious...fresh air (smoke free), food and water....Spirit, love, friends/family, books, music, nature
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The nature and meaning of life. Our connection with all that, the universe and everything.
On a typical Friday night I am
If I am with friends, it is making music, drumming, snuggling, dancing (smoke free venue), talking, gathering together at someone's home. Sometimes at the gym.

If I am by myself, I am generally reading or writing. Not big on tv.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sex for me is far more than what goes on below the belly button and I welcome a loving partner with whom I can be emotionally naked before I can be physically naked.
You should message me if
You want to have far more than a surface friendship and or/relationship. You know that love is never wasted. You are doing your own healing work and take responsibility for your own growth and emotions. You are able to be a playful adult. You want to journey together with a partner who is well worth your time and energy :) You want to be fully loved and share the gifts we have to offer each other in each moment. You have been looking for me as I have been looking for you.
