My self-summary
Hey there!

So I've been away from the 918 for about a year now. I've been in South Korea for school, and in Miami doing a year of service. I'd love to learn what all has changed here though!

Besides that though; I love music, concerts, the outdoors, photography, traveling, trying new things, and tons of other stuff.

As for religion, I would say I'm more spiritual than anything. I love digging deep into that kind of thing. I don't really think there is one exact way to get to heaven (or whatever it is), and think it's better to show then speak your beliefs.

I also don't drink, or do drugs. Nothing against it, but it's just not my cup of tea. I'm also terrible at the whole flirting thing.
What I’m doing with my life
Just got back from doing a year of service through the Young Adult Volunteer program so I'm trying to find a job. I want to do something involving non-profits, or something in the creative industry.
I’m really good at
*Devouring some Chipotle.
*listening to people's problems, and being there for them. I may not be that great at a lot of things, but I do know I'm fantastic at being a friend, and providing a listening ear.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, and enthusiasm.

Books: The Harry Potter series, Love Does, and Hunger Games.

Movies: Donnie Darko, Inception, Lars and the Real Girl, and American Psycho, Django Unchained, Her, The Secret Life of Water Mitty, Deadpool, and any Quentin Tarantino Film.

T.V.- Stranger Things, Parks and Rec, Breaking Bad, Delocated, Psych, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, Adventure Time, Psych, Scrubs, The Colbert Report, Game of Thrones, True Detectives, At Midnight, and It's Always Sunny....

Music- Chance the Rapper, John Mayer, Coldplay, anything with some danceable beats, Ben Howard, Mumford and Sons, Bon Iver, Beach House, Of Monsters and Men, Grouplove, Disclosure, James Bay, Hammock, Tycho, Jack Ü. The 1975, Local Natives, and the Talking Heads.

Food: Spicy food, Braum's Milkshakes, Cuban Sandwiches, Colada, Pepitos, and Cereal foods are what I'm all about.
The six things I could never do without
1. Music with lyrics.
2. Sense of adventure
3. The ability to wonder
4. Confidence to try things that other people wouldn't.
5. Creativity
6. Empathy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lately, just the whole concept of life being kind of futile has been going through my mind, I've also been thinking a lot of about lately how if I don't speak out about social justice issues I care about, and alert my friends to it am I really helping at all?

Lastly, I wonder if I'm boring since I'm so easy going.
On a typical Friday night I am
At the moment, just relaxing with friends. Maybe a board game or two, or getting into some adventure.
You should message me if
If you have a love for The Talking Heads, old cult classics of the cinema world, or if you questions if East Bound and Down is amazing satire, or just garbage TV.

Extra cool points if you have a tattoo, love non-profit work, love the band Grouplove, Brand New, Hammock, Ben Howard, or Jack Ü. Also, if you are a big fan of Parks & Rec., It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia... have a hoop nose ring, and have a thirst for life that can't be quenched by just staying at home and watching a movie.
