My self-summary
My perfect evening is sitting around the table trying not to get too much of dinner on the board games. If the weather is decent, pretending we know how to play badminton (and trying not to lose more than a few birdies) is always a good addition. If I’m not working on or talking about something, my mind has a tendency to take a random thought and run with it, often down some strange alleys.

I spent a few years in Pennsylvania doing graduate research in chemistry before moving back and switching to pharmacy, which I'm loving.

For what they can tell you about me, I'm INFP and my love languages are touch and time.
What I’m doing with my life
Working in a pharmacy, volunteering on the Recovery Helpline, and in pharmacy school. Squeezing soccer, time with friends, and time to myself in where I can.
I’m really good at
Remembering bizarre and random facts that no one ever really needs to know (atomic weight of atomic chlorine, anyone?).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Game of Thrones, Discworld, Catch 22. Fantasy tends to be my go-to genre, but I also enjoy reading about philosophy and religion.

Music: Top band right now is Midnight Cinema, though I listen to podcasts a lot more than music.

TV: Doctor Who, NCIS (original and New Orleans), Game of Thrones, Scrubs, Firefly, Last Week Tonight.

Movies: Princess Bride, Fight Club, Pitch Black, Monty Python, Stardust, all the Pixar films, V for Vendetta.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What board games my collection is missing. Specific games, types of games, or games that play well with different group sizes, there's always something lacking.

Professionally, it's often about how to balance public health concerns with the realities of addiction and recovery - we have lots of addiction problems, and current policies fail everyone.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most nights, hanging out with friends on one of our regularly scheduled impromptu game nights. Yes, I'm aware of the oxymoron that is that concept.

On actual Fridays, I'm playing soccer with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I thought I was Randy Johnson when I was 5. "But he's a lot taller than you are..." "Yeah, but from a distance you can't tell." 5 year old me wasn't going to let logic get in my way!
You should message me if
You want to learn new games (or teach me one... there's a few out there I don't know!), go paddle-boarding, or join me for a soccer match.
