My self-summary
I have a deep-seated mistrust of men. Trumped only by my desire for them. Obviously, I have not yet learned how to square this circle: Welcome to the wacky world of online dating! (Profiles).

Concerning all willing applicants: must enjoy conversation.

Not being persnickety here but really...look at all the pointless pointillist shit I say! I like words and I especially like those who know how to use them. If you're afraid of cursing, please fuck off. If a voluble woman makes you cringe, suck a dick.

Anyone still reading, do read on:

In general, I seem to get along best with people who have opinions, but not those whose highest opinion is of themselves. I like conversationalists. Thinkers. Slightly giddy touchy-feely people, who think reason is sexy and unreason is a fight-club for the self-interested. Except when it's mystical. I like people who enjoy mystery, but aren't culty about it. I like people who like to laugh. I like people who dance when everyone's watching. Because they know that they can. And also those who don't mind fragments--if it renders the right effect. I like people who know the difference between effect and affect and still manage to confuse the two.

I like people who occasionally sleep-in because they were thinking all night about the painfully irrelevant. I like nature over nurture, and those who forgive their parents for screwing up. People who think farting is funny, and don't think women should be the tortured shadows of photoshop. I like people who appreciate poetry and money. As well as those willing to do without both just to piss off their mom. I like people who are familiar with failure because they try too hard. Very occasionally I even like those I've recently told to fuck off.... Is this you?

If you think you're God's Gift and want my confirmation, know: I'm as likely to throw a drink in your face than to swallow your guilty propaganda. I think if I had more drugs, I could keep going....

Does anyone else think this is just another online shopping site? Anyone?

*proviso: please do not email me blatantly sexual observations. I do not care how much you bench press; I do care about everything else. If you have a sense of humor and a modicum of intelligence, use it.

Otherwise, I'm fair game. Giddyup.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm in Development.

Also: I make plays, publish articles, scan poetry well into the early hours and travel as often as I can. I'm working on the libretto for an opera. I'm working on a novel. I'm distracted by the concept of getting to work on time. I'm concerned I ought to work harder than I do but then again, I spend most of my time working....
I’m really good at
Talking to myself out loud...usually about something lewd.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. And my inordinate desire to say something I've already said, twice.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm willing to admit most things to most people, whether it's true or not. Suffice it to say, a personals platform is not the best place to do so.
You should message me if
You are funny, intelligent and good with your hips.

Also: must like cats. Must secretly want a cat for a girlfriend. ...I am that cat.
