My self-summary
How does one describe themselves enough for a stranger to stop and send a message? If you have the answer maybe you'll share it with me. Until then I'll do my best to leave you with some highlights.

I am going back to school to pursue another degree, I'm hoping this degree will allow me to lead professional development experiences for teachers, until then I teach high school so I can handle a lot of sass and sarcasm.

I'm a Denver native and love this state, but don't think that keeps me from traveling. Right now I'm just traveling domestically, I think there is so much to see in our country and don't want to miss any of it.

I'm a craft beer lover, I spend a lot of time with my friends checking out new breweries and playing bar games.

I've been losing weight for over a year and have discovered a love for fitness. I love to swim (always have) but Kettlebell, hiking, and paddle boarding are some of my other favorites.

I believe that balance is necessary in life.

I appreciate laughter and humor. I'm looking for someone who wants to enjoy that with me.
What I’m doing with my life
•Living it to the best of my ability.
• Working
• Frolicking with my friends.
I’m really good at
Making ridiculous faces, people tell me I have a very expressive face.

Making sarcastic comments.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't have favorite books because I always think the book I'm reading is my favorite book, until I read another and then that becomes my favorite book. (Chobsky) In general I like historical fiction and realistic fiction, but I'm getting more into Sci-Fi (darn my nerdy friends.)

I love music, mostly indie, but I like folk, bluegrass, rock, etc. I love Fitz and the Tantrums, Cage the Elephant, Imagine Dragons, Young the Giant, Walk the Moon and many others.

Movies: The Princess Bride, Elf, Gone with the Wind, and The Ringer (totally acceptable movie, endorsed by Special Olympics)

I love Asian food in general, Indian and Thai might be my favorite, but creative flavors are always intriguing to me so I'll try ALMOST anything.

TV: I no longer pay for cable, but I love New Girl, The Mindy Project, The Walking Dead, Orange is the New Black, United States of Tara and Dr. Who
The six things I could never do without
1. Family
2. Friends
3. Books
4. Water (for drinking and swimming)
5. New experiences
6. Beer
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I can improve. I think I can always get better at what I'm doing. Whether it's cooking, teaching, swimming, lifting, whatever. I like the challenge.

How I can become a mermaid in my next life! 😁
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends, chasing food trucks and drinking microbrews!
You should message me if
You like beer, awesome food, or hanging out with a smart ass.
