The list is sooo long! I have read so many books from different genres. I have an interest in most literature. Books that are raw, undiluted that intrigue mystify and confront me.

ART: Although there is no category I am including one. Art is my all encompassing passion that I cannot live without! I adore art in many forms From the old masters to contemporary- rembrandt, Picasso, Chagall, Matisse, Van Gogh, Pollack, Whitely, De Kooning........ (Doco) Simon Schama's The Power of Art- oh my, Bernini, who can turn marble into flesh.. Caravaggio. Greatest art moment being at the MET in New York and in one room were the greatest artists of our time- I thought my head was going to pop with joy!
I also love Aboriginal art, the ancient language of our native people has a powerful effect on me.

FILM: Woody Allen- A hilarious peep show into a neurotic self absorbed mind.

HUGE HUGE HUGE music fan- blues, funk, soul, disco, dance, guitar. Im at a live gig at least once a week and I do love a good outdoor music festival from dancing in the sun to mud squelching between my toes as I boogie.
Just to name a few- Nick Cave, Dirty 3, the bonnevilles, Josh Ritter, Tex Perkins, Mark Lanagan, Bill Callahan- are you detecting a bit of a theme? I adore melancholy the tension between sweetness and sadness sends me into creative overdrive.

FOOD: Well I am of Italian descent so it goes without saying that food is incredibly important, I love the complexity of Indian food and the degustation of spanish - YUM - I also love good wine.
