My self-summary
Hey there! I'm a technology consultant living in Baltimore and working in Manhattan. I am pretty new to both cities, but I'm absolutely loving it, and would love it even more if someone could show me around ;)

I'm really excited by new experiences, and going out and doing things, but words cannot describe how much I enjoy spending a quiet night sitting at home. After 4 days in Manhattan every week, I need one!

Two of my favorite things are dogs (I used to volunteer at The Washington Humane Society and am currently looking into Baltimore's shelter society) and bar trivia (I go almost every week).

I played Rugby for three years in college and now I'm an avid Ultimate Frisbee player. Let's go the park and toss a disc anytime!

If you've got a story, I can't wait to hear it!
What I’m doing with my life
Driving, working, and reading. I love my job, and the commute gives me plenty of time to listen to music or audiobooks.
I’m really good at
embarassing myself playing ridiculous games like quelf and cranium with my friends. I'm also really good at learning new things and messing with numbers.

Cooking's not really my strong suit, but I can make a mean dessert. I like to experiment and try making new things. Recently, I made chocolate chip cookies with s'mores baked into them. That was pretty sweet. Ahh see what I did there? :P

...I also make really bad jokes a lot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love experiencing new things, and my favorite thing in the world is good storytelling. Books are the best because I get to direct the adventure on my own, but TV and movies are great for those lazy days. Some of my favorites are:

Shows: Game of Thrones, Firefly, Supernatural, Archer, Arrested Development and Doctor Who.

Books: ASOIAF obviously, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Mercy Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs, Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead

I'm only recently getting into music. I never listened to it until I had a car of my own, but I find that I can listen to pretty much anything. Lately I've been rocking out to The Hamilton soundtrack in my car though :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
whether or not we're alone in the universe.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have no musical talent whatsoever. It feels like my best friends are all gifted singers or musicians, and I can't even carry a tune. Doesn't stop me from singing in the car though! ...When I'm by myself.
You should message me if
you've ever had an argument about whether Rose Tyler or Donna Noble was a better companion. Stay shiny!
