My self-summary
I like tv, movies, music, and the occasional video game. I enjoy a wide variety of movies and music. It really just depends on the day what I feel like watching or listening to. When I have free time, I have a wide range of hobbies that include video editing, sculpting, building models, and making short films.

I am also a certified spin instructor. So I am at the gym several times a week taking/teaching fitness classes, hitting the treadmill, and/or lifting weights. Occasionally I get together with friends to play soccer on the weekends too. I actually enjoy playing a few sports, but don't get much of a chance to play very often. My favorite ones to play are soccer, baseball, bowling, and racquetball. I don't really like to watch sports though. (I'm the kind of guy that looks forward to the commercials more than the game during the Super Bowl.)

I have a bachelor degree in graphic design and an associate degree in web design. So I think it's safe to say I'm artistic and a little nerdy.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I am just taking it day by day. Trying to have some fun in there too.
I’m really good at
Pattern recognition, making sense of complicated concepts, and figuring out how things work. Also I seem to be good at finding unconventional ways to fix things.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my sense of (or lack of) style. There is pretty much an equal chance of seeing me in a nice button up shirt, t-shirt, or hawaiian shirt.

I am also told I have a nice smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
I don't read as much as I used to. I have always been a fan of Michael Crichton. I also enjoyed Frankenstein, The Hatchet, and classical British literature (such as Paradise Lost, Beowulf, and A Modest Proposal). I read a lot of non-fiction too. Also this goes into another direction, but Megaman Megamix and Gigamix were pretty good too.

Movies:
I really love all kinds of movies. I have only recently started getting into the horror genre. (I don't really care for a lot of cheap thrills or pointless gore, but a few seem interesting.) Here are a few of my favorites in no particular order: Austin Powers, Terminator 2, Se7en, The 40 Year Old Virgin, The Avengers, The Dark Knight, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Shows:
I don't really watch any recent tv shows. A lot of them just seem pointless and the rest are some kind of crime drama. Really the only ones I have kind of kept up with are Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother, but even those I don't watch a lot. Of course there's always reruns of Seinfeld, right? I also have a lot of old 80's and 90's series on dvd to keep my interest whenever Netflix fails me.

Music:
My musical tastes are all over the place. I'm not a fan of country or rap, but there are always exceptions. I normally listen to rock, 80's music, and movie soundtracks. Here are a few of my favorites in no particular order: The B-52's, Nine Inch Nails, Deep Purple, Devo, Immediate Music, Prodigy, and Hans Zimmer.

Food:
I am a sort of picky eater at times, but I can eat most things just fine. I don't eat anything overly spicy, and I'm not the best at vegetables either.
The six things I could never do without
1. The essentials for life (food, water, etc.)
2. Family and friends
3. Computers/the Internet
4. Good music/shows/movies/video games to entertain me
5. Sources of inspiration
6. The ability to work on fun projects
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think a lot about how things work, possible ideas for projects or inventions, my own potential future, and ideas for an animated series I plan to make.

Also how much I wish there were more options for some of the questions on this site. Not everything can be a simple yes or no answer.
On a typical Friday night I am
Honestly at home most of the time. Unless something turns up.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't really have a sense of smell. I wish I could say that I lost it in some fantastic accident, but I guess it just never developed properly.

You are open minded, easy going, at least somewhat optimistic, and enjoy tons of "useless" information. Also if anything I've said so far in my profile interests you.
