My self-summary
I moved to Denver in May 2017! As a newb, I have a list of activities and places I want to hit up. Luckily I do have a few friends in town, but am looking for opportunities to meet new people!

I am adventurous and relatively spontaneous. I love being outside and doing new things --tubing, snorkeling, trail running, hiking, camping, skiing, cycling, travelling, going out to new places to eat, and exploring new cities or neighborhoods.

Some of the places I visited in in 2016 included Germany, France, Scotland, and Norway. In Oct. 2017, I have a tentative trip to India and Nepal, with a week or two in the Himalayas. I do a lot of repeat trips throughout the year, too, but I like to mix it up.

I am generally positive and tend to surround myself with intellectual, fun, and interesting people who challenge me in some way. I hope you do, too!
What I’m doing with my life
Riding around on my bike, spending time with people I care about, honing my volleyball skills, playing music, and getting long runs in on the weekends.

I work from home for a company based in Boston, so I take midday walks to cafes and the library to change scenery.

There's more to this, but you probably get the idea.
I’m really good at
languages, traveling, spontaneity, bringing friends together, and cooking delicious meals (if I do say so myself)
The first things people usually notice about me
My curly hair and my ability to talk to anyone about practically anything.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My latest music quests have led me to Lake Street Dive, Car Seat Headrest, Pinegrove, Childish Gambino, Bahamas, Chance... The list continues.

Most recently, my completed books include a posthumous compilation of Vonnegut's called Armageddon in Retrospect and an Oliver Sacks book called Hallucinations. I tend to gravitate towards nonfiction but once in a while, I get wrapped up in a good story or two.

Food-wise, there's very little I don't like. The spicier, the better.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I can possibly digest all the different genres of music that exist in the world.

My next getaway.

That New Yorker, HBR, WaPo, or NYT article I read this morning.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging in the hammock in my backyard, enjoying drinks at a bar, on a weekend hike or camping trip, or relaxing and recovering from a busy workweek.

Also live music. That seems to be one of my major activities lately.
You should message me if
you are active and outdoorsy, you like live music or talking about music, and/or you tend to rise to a challenge rather than shy away from one.

also if you're interested in exploring what Denver has to offer or showing me your favorite spots around the city.
