My self-summary
I am a bit of a geek and like video/board games but I am still interested in doing things like mountain biking/4wheeling, movies or the occasional hike but draw the line short of camping. I would be most interested in someone looking for a long term relationship but I am ok with making new friends. I don't enjoy bars/partying/clubbing and such but do enjoy hanging out with friends watching movies, playing board games, mountain biking, hiking or just doing whatever.

I don't think it is important for two people to have to share the same interests, I think it is personality that matters far more than interests for a relationship to work.

for my personality, I would describe myself as helpful, nice but quite a bit shy. Good listener, very honest, always willing to help people.
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated with a Master's degree in Computer Science and I am currently working as a Software Development Analyst.

I haven't done too much traveling but would love to see the world outside the U.S. some day

I think I am a very down to earth rational person, I would be perfectly happy to eventually settle down with the house, kids, a dog and such.
I’m really good at
Technical things, I am good at things such as electronics, programming, building things, working on cars etc.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am shy and quiet, and do tend to over-think things to the point when I have a response it's too late.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music - Frank Turner, Oasis, Blink 182, Nirvana, Garbage, and lots more - my music is kind of stuck in the 90's :-)

TV Shows - Revolution, House, Breaking Bad, Game of thrones, Walking Dead, Top Gear as well as shows about Science/Technology/Universe
For older shows - LOST, Firefly, Stargate (SGU was the best)

Movies - Star wars (4-6), Indiana Jones, The Dark Knight, Primer, Jurassic Park, Lord of War and a lot of others

Books - Earthcore, The Unincorporated Man, Freakonomics
Six things I could never do without
Internet (how did people live before it - kind of weird that I will be able to tell my kids that I remember when there was no internet (at least as we know it today)
-I think the first three should be on anyone's list, but maybe I'm being a little too literal here :-)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Anything and everything, I love discussing current events particularly law or debating politics, I like to keep up with the news. Also the future, I keep hoping between my interest and technology thinking about what *could be* I will come up with some clever idea and change [ or rule :-) ]the world.
On a typical Friday night I am
usually exhausted from a week of work, and wanting to catch up on some sleep) but on the weekends often either usually hanging out with friends playing board games/ watching tv/movies, video games, 4wheeling or mountain biking
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
not much apparently :-)
You should message me if
well, you got to the bottom of this page so you must be somewhat interested, so what are waiting for? send me a message already! :-)
