My self-summary
A list of hobbies: singing, gaming, driving, cooking, learning, being realistic, decorating my apartment, woodworking... I'm sure that I have left out quite a few. I've been singing since I first heard Boyz II Men and gaming since I got my nintendo. In high school I went to a couple of regional audition choirs and my senior year I went to L.A for the national honor choir. I like to sing, haha.

I went to school for mechanical engineering for a while and am trying to get back into that; during school I sang for the Portland Opera Chorus. I ran the shamrock run 8k in 2012 but didn't get around to it this year.

In May I injured my left ankle pretty bad; I had to get some screws put in my ankle-area and was laid-up for most of the summer. Right now I'm healing from a fracture and another surgery that was neccessary.

I like to cook, and I've been told I'm good at it, and writing is something I do to stay sane. I try to be the most supportive person to anyone I know cause karma is a decent philosophy.

I try to be like the moon.
What I’m doing with my life
Other than plans to take over the world... the fiscal pipe-dream of going back to school... /sigh. I'm also wondering if I should take the after-school/portland parks and rec career path set before me. Maybe even get a teaching associates? Who knows.

I would like to meet someone who reads regularly, if only so it will finally get me into a more regular reading pattern. Y'know, instead of the hatred of House on Mango Street that I had to read 9 times in school.
I’m really good at
I like to think that I'm an excellent driver, and I'd say I'm more than decent for sure, but my car isn't as nice as I would like. Other than that, I'm good at being there for people when they need or want me.

I would describe myself as very loyal. I can also find a silver lining in pretty much any scenario.

If I had to define my thought processes, it would be with this saying...

'Hope for the best; prepare for the worst.'
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my smile. I do it a lot. The big doofy grin comes next. I'd like to think people see my proportionality as opposed to my rotundness.

I used to run a bunch, and I've never been slow when sprinting, even at my size. I hope playing up the fact that I've lost about 100 lbs, and playing down the fact that I still have another 100 until my goal weight, helps anyone consider me, but I understand why first impressions (read: looks) are tough to get past in my experience. I would just say this; I will be a very different sized person in 2 years. /enddefensiverant
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Now, this list might seem kinda... obsessive. But, I put it to you, lists of books or movies people like can easily be this long.

Games (in mostly no particular order): FFVII (and the rest), The lion king (snes), quest 64, star fox, metal gear series, assassins creed series, Call of Duty 2 and 3 (before bros got to it), counterstrike (played semi-pro), diablo series, starcraft series, disgaea series, ace combat series, armored core series, front mission 4, dawn of war series (warhammer 40k), ocarina of time, monster rancher 4 on ps1, destrega, jade cocoon 1&2, dark cloud, kingdom hearts series, rock band series (im pretty good at the drums), worms series, portal everything, half life everything, monster hunter series, ssx series (before the trick stick) likewise tony hawk 4 and earlier, wildstar, stick of truth, borderlands 1&2, bioshock series (infinite being in my top 3 of all time), lego series...... so many more, seriously, im probably forgetting as many as is already on this list.

Books: Harry Potter, Kite Runner, Citizen Soldiers, D-Day.

Movies: The Lion King, Starship Troopers, Hitch, a bunch of other rom-coms like Knocked Up, Kung Fu Panda, Wall-E, Run Fatboy Run, Accepted, Pineapple Express, Thor 2, District 9... others.

Shows: Scrubs, South Park, The Daily Show/Colbert Report, Mythbusters, Modern Marvels, Key & Peele, Classic SNL, Eureka.

Music: Anyone with a good voice, ie John Legend, Buble, Boyz II Men, Kc & JoJo... Also Deathklok, Gorillaz, Daft Punk, Some select dubstep... I'm really eclectic with music.

Food: I love a good smoothie, salmon, sushi, good pizza, steak, oysters... a bunch of stuff really, but I could live the rest of my life just having salmon every meal. It would be so gooooood.
Six things I could never do without
I'm going to add, "for a year." to the end of this question.

Lists not in order of importance
Burgerville?? Ionno...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a TON of time thinking about how I would react in hypothetical situations.
I think it helps me to be prepared for anything.

Other things include, recently, how soon I'll be able to get back to being able to go for a jog. This ankle stuff is garbage, haha
On a typical Friday night I am
Seeing what my friends are doing or enjoying a nice reward dinner and trying a new beer at home with some show or movie I've been waiting to watch. Also, lately, binge-watching the week's Daily Show and Colbert Report episodes.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have written erotica before, and it was warmly reviewed online. Ask away, if you'd like to know more.
You should message me if
