I moved from an east coast city to a west coast suburb. I went from being an active walker to more of a bicyclist. Now I'm back Maine where I grew up. I find myself loving being connected to family and old friends here.
I pepper my speech with words like yoicks, dang and friggin. I can swear a blue streak if needed. I'm pretty good with Yiddish for someone who really has no need of it.
I went to church growing up and am grateful for that exposure, but I am an atheist. That said, I have friends of all faiths.
I really like to cook.
Talking (too good at that maybe)
Movies: Diner, Amelie, Crazy Stupid Love
I haven't had cable since 1987.
Shows: Breaking Bad, The Wire, Community, The Walking Dead, Better Off Ted,
Podcasts: This American Life, WTF w/ Marc Maron
Music: I like a lot of stuff. I dislike a few things.
One of my favorite albums is London Calling.
The older I get, the more I appreciate the emotional complexity of Warren Zevon.
Food: I like to cook. I can get kind of talkative about that. I'm also a craft beer fan.
And coffee… definitely coffee.
