My self-summary
Hi! I'm Steven.I like to hang out in the Austin area (I've lived in Texas all my life and ATX is hands down the best city with the best people).
I'm kind of a tech-nerd. I have worked with computers a lot and I really dig smartphones, video games, big screen TVs, and other pieces of tech.

I love movies and reading. I have quite the collection of movies, literally hundreds on blu-ray, and I have a passion for cinema. I read a lot of fiction. I have a life-long love of comic books. I read nonfiction also, mainly into history, science, and philosophy.
My goal is to one day focus on something creative. I write a lot and would love to make a career out of it but its more of a hobby right now. I like to be around other creative people, especially ones I can kick ideas back and forth with.

Politically I'm very progressive and I take politics seriously. So seriously in fact, that I work for a few political organizations. I could never be with a right wing Christian/conservative type of person. I've tried before and it doesn't work.

I am a rationalist and an atheist. I don't have any spiritual or faith-based beliefs. This video does a good job of explaining how I feel:
I recommend watching. Not only is it witty and well done but if you appreciate it then we're probably somewhat like-minded.
What I’m doing with my life
I work on the warranty team for an appliance manufacturer that specializes in kegerators. Cool stuff if you fancy beer.
I’m really good at
Being honest with people, even when they don't want the truth
Ms. Pac-Man
The first things people usually notice about me
Not really sure since I'm not a mind reader but I would assume my eyes since that's the number one compliment I get.

I also have about a metric shit-ton of comics I like. Too many to list but message about them if your interested in that sort of thing.
The six things I could never do without
Movies, someone to talk to, my eyes (I kind of need those to enjoy movies, video games, and reading. damn it would suck to be blind), internet access (pretty much the entire sum of human knowledge.... and dumb pictures of cats), hot wings, and cold beer.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How much better the world would be if W. Bush was never president and Michael Bay never made Transformer movies. Trying to remember somebody's name that I used to go to school with or work with. The fact that people who spend a lot of time thinking about surviving the zombie apocalypse need to realize the whole zombie thing is played out now. Then I think about how the people who think that will probably be the first to get devoured by the undead.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends, watching Netflix, or patrolling the streets as a crime fighter in an elaborate costume that includes underwear outside of my pants.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm probably the only person in the English speaking world who has never watched or read any Harry Potter. Feel free to be the one to introduce to it if you're a fan.
You should message me if
If you are impressed that I can recite the titles of all 23 Jame Bond movies in chronological order or like to debate about which show is better out of Firefly or Doctor Who. Also please be in the Austin area!
