My self-summary
On my bucket list, among other things, is the following: sing karaoke Walking in Memphis...on Beal Street. Get it? Thanks folks, I'll be here all but seriously, its a priority.

On to the elevator pitch: I'm a former teacher turned lawyer who prefers books over the Kindle, CDs over MP3 (no vinyl-I'm not that old or hip), and Coke over Pepsi. I quote commercial and catch phrases. In short I'm a friendly, passionate, and quirky individual. An old soul with a young spirit. Goofy but down to earth.

Oh, and I have not read a single Harry Potter book...sorry, not sorry.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in debt collection, helping the big banks recover their losses. Hey everyone deserves representation, even the faceless, corporate banks.
I’m really good at
I own the rights to Walking in Memphis. The song is in the key of C; it practically sings itself. I'm also a good problem solver. I'm a decent writer too...for a lawyer. I also know how to lighten the mood with well placed dry humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This is the Starter List: get to know me, there are more.

Books: Straw Dogs

Movies: Transformers the Movie (the original 80's masterpiece). It's modern mythology. The killed Optimus Prime. That's commitment to the form.

TV: Law and Order (the original)

Music: Paolo Nutini and/or The Beach Boys

Food: Pizza and/or Hamburgers
The six things I could never do without
In no particular order...

1. I-phone
2. Keurig Mini
3. Laptop
4. Kettle cooked sea salt and black pepper chips
5. Traditional books (as in actual physical books hardback or paperback)
6. CDs
I spend a lot of time thinking about
whether I am the only one who puts two spaces after a period to begin a new sentence.
On a typical Friday night I am
Karaoke, an improv show, local event, tennis, trying to follow a recipe, amazon prime...typical enough?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm dsylexic. Have a little empathy for me when I mix up you're vs your and there vs they're.
You should message me if
you have a favorite song you sing at karaoke or,
you've asked your self "why did they put that building there" when walking around a city or,
you want to tell me your favorite beer or,
you're also allergic to cats or,
you're looking for a tennis partner.
Oh and you love animals, you'll let me eat the fries off your plate, and you like the idea of having the proverbial partner in crime.
