My self-summary
Whether it's finding a scenic location for my next photoshoot or pondering the difference between scotch and bourbon, I'm a quirky SoCal guy who loves a distraction.
What I’m doing with my life
During the day, I'm a photo editor at an advertising company but I spend a lot of time outside of work photographing street scenes and parties. I've only been seriously interested in photography in the last few years as I enjoy telling stories with my camera -- whether it's being a fly in the wall at a party or capturing the emotions at a political protest.

Apart from that, I spend my weekends going to art openings or planning my next trip abroad.
I’m really good at
-Photographing candids.
-Mimicking accents.
-Making cheese omelettes.

Six things I could never do without
I wish this profile section would be "the six quirky places I'd love to do a photoshoot in the future." Anyway here's six places:

1) Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo - Every room is unique and it's so gaudy that I could do some avant garde fashion shoot. Too bad it takes a while to get a reservation.
2) Salvation Mountain near the Salton Sea - I'm no religious guy, but I think it's a colorful work of art placed in a desolate place.
3) An airplane graveyard in the desert - My fascination with aviation is deep.
4) Manchester - The industrial facades and it's influential place in 80's music (The Smiths, Joy Division, Morrissey, etc.) would be cool for a retro shoot.
5) Boracay in the Philippines - Who doesn't love white sandy beaches?
6) On a subway platform - I love trying to make photoshoots out of everyday places.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-Why the Simpsons episodes from before 1997 were funnier than the ones today.
-How I'm going to fit all the best restaurants in Montreal in a 48-hour timeframe. I just booked my flight for a weekend trip in April and I like to see how I can do anything and everything in a short timeframe.
On a typical Friday night I am
You can find me at some glorified dive on the Eastside where red lighting is part of the mood. Otherwise I am at a hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant chatting up with my artist friends and somehow dancing to obscure 60s 70s and 80s hits all night long!
You should message me if
You're adventurous with your food or want to do something out of the ordinary. Also, if you're into hikes or beer tastings, feel free to message me as well!
