My self-summary
I love open water, blue skies, big fields, and fresh snow. I firmly believe that just about anything worth doing involves a little sweat and a quick pulse. I'm a diehard optimist and an unrepentant class clown.

I grew up in Chicago, which made me a little too sarcastic and a little too naive at the same time. The older I get, the more convinced I am that no one actually knows what they're doing. Least of all me.
What I’m doing with my life
As much physical stuff as I can fit into every week: Snowboarding, bouldering, running, biking, ultimate frisbee, scuba diving, yoga, weightlifting, hiking.

Learning how to cook. (So far: use lots of garlic and butter.) Keeping alive the dying art of listening to an album all the way through. Slowly working my way through all the books I somehow keep buying at Powell's. Playing "Tom Sawyer" over and over on the drums. Writing, to keep life from rushing by too fast. Practicing for the day when Settlers of Catan becomes an Olympic sport.

Herding cats, scribbling hieroglyphics on whiteboards, and leading group therapy sessions... or, in other words, working as a project manager for a tech company.
I’m really good at
Folding my socks into those little inside-out sock packages.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I want to be when I grow up.
On a typical Friday night I am
Asleep at 10 so I can get an early start to Mt. Hood, or getting loose till 2 at Soul Night.
You should message me if
You need a shuffleboard partner who's extremely mediocre.
You need someone to duet "Summer Nights" with you at karaoke.
You need a playlist made for any occasion.

You think that life can be silly, sad, and exhilarating, but never boring, and you think it's always better with someone you trust and care about by your side.
