Sure it's great that we both like running, but one of us is going to be too slow to work out with regularly. Yes hiking is amazing, but we are never going to agree on length and difficulty/steepness so someone is going to be left either panting and tired or not challenged. So the real question is who do you want to plop down and spend your lazy time with? Who do you like and respect enough to actually argue with?
My favorite author is Dumas, and book is The Count of Monte Cristo. Yes I know he was the Clive Cussler of his time, that is what is so great about him. Also, he weaves a myriad of storylines into one seamless narrative. Plus he wrote for the masses so lots of action and swagger. (I mean that in the classic swashbuckling sense, not the modern interpretation.)
I like most kinds of movies, from high budget Hollywood, happy ending blockbusters to documentaries about social and political upheavals. I have a secret (well not so secret after I hit save) love of romantic comedies.
I have a new favorite, Cosmos. It is the most expansive program on TV. I recommend you watch it. (If you got that joke, I recommend you message me.)
My favorite ballet is the Nutcracker; musical is South Pacific; Opera is Carmen; play is Romeo and Juliet; favorite concert ZZ Top (it was my first)
I actually like most popular music. I also like R&B and rap, and, much to my chagrin, I am now old enough to like the adult contemporary stations. When I was a kid and my parents listened to adult contemporary, I swore I would never be that old, yet here I am.
I like to cook and eat a wide variety of food, but I love soups. There is just something about a warm bowl of good soup that makes a day better. Plus, they are really fun to make, difficult to screw up, and you can make a meal with only one pot to clean. For the last few years I have been on a Pho kick and I think I can finally make a pretty kick ass quick broth (no all day boiling and no ox tails needed).
Also I wonder if I made a profile on here that was exactly the same as my current one except for the gender, would we be perfect matches, or perfect enemies?
If you can win an argument with your sound logic and judgement. I find the ability to debate an issue in an intelligent and thoughtful way to be one of the most attractive traits a person can have. (This does not mean feelings aren't involved, just be able to recognize when feelings are getting in the way and be able to say that. Particularly when I am the one doing it.)
Also if you have a cute puppy in your pics I am already ready for a date. Lets meet at Greenlake or Discovery park, bring your puppy, know that I will probably dedicate 70% of my attention to your puppy, and I will probably refer to the dog as cuteness. If that is fine with you, send a message, my answer is already yes.
