My self-summary
Recently, cancer claimed my wife of 13 years. We met on Match.Com and it was a fairy tale romance from day one. We felt like we had known each other all our lives. For months, my wife and I talked every day about what we were experiencing. She only had two requests. She did not want to be in pain and she wanted to die at home and she got both of those.
Before her, I was married for 29 years to a lady who had nerve damage and was in constant pain and for a 7 year stretch, she spent about 25 weeks a year in hospital. From these two women. I learn a great deal about caring and compassion.
I am very laid back and I don't let most things upset me.
I hold values that I learned from the era I grew up in and try to apply them.

I believe that a woman by your side is the greatest gift a man can have. I believe that one of the main reason to be in a relationship is because you want to and can bring happiness to her. Loving her does not start when the tv goes off. You show her every day how important she is to you. A card to say you love her, phone calls because you miss her, holding doors for her, protecting her in a crowd, a hug and kiss. Pay attention when she talks as she has something she wants to tell you and it is important to her.
What I’m doing with my life
I have no long term plans. If I wish to do something then I probable will. I go to Montana a couple of times a year to see my son and family. A few times a year, I go to Las Vegas. I would go to other places but they would be better with someone.
