My self-summary
English Rose or Scarlet Woman, you choose.

I'm Kim aka Sunshine, I got the nickname for being happy go-lucky and positive. I like trying to bring sunshine into someone's day.

I love the sunshine in the day and the stars at night.

I'm ready to take on life and enjoy it! I did a degree in English & American Lit, and I loved every moment of it. I'm outgoing and the life and soul once you get to know me, but I can be shy at first! I'm open and honest and like people who are the same.
I'm a mature 22, and like people who share a mature outlook on life (although, that's not to say that laughing at stupid jokes, or something childish, isn't fun!)
I hate it when people talk "lyk dis omg lol int dat funni!!!111!!!" and chances are if your profile picture doesn't include your face, and is just a shot of your "hot abs", you're really not my type.

And I'm not available. I just want friends.
What I’m doing with my life
That's classified I'm afraid...

I also volunteer with children, and as part of the girlguiding organisation.

Going out for walks, with or without the dog
I’m really good at
Making people laugh
Being a friend
Being reliable
Cooking, baking, making men sandwiches
Children's arts & crafts!!!
Getting drunk on minimal alcohol
Falling over spectacularly and for no reason
Freaking out when I see anything that flies, buzzes and has stripes
Breaking tension
Breaking my bones
Talking to children like they're people
Managing to sound Northern, yet vaguely posh Southern simultaneously
Taking photographs that capture a magic moment, whether that's a bee taking pollen from a flower, or a friend falling down drunk.
Buying shoes
Slow sarcastic clapping when someone has a Captain Obvious moment or just a really intensely dumb moment
Being ready with a sarcastic remark when it's called for
Being ready with a kind word and encouragement
The first things people usually notice about me
That I smile and mean it.

Oh and I won't lie, the fact that I have enormous boobs, and yes they're real.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Harry Potter, The Book Thief, Pride & Prejudice, A Tale of Two Cities, anything Shakespeare touched, particularly Hamlet, Canterbury Tales (even in medieval English!), David Copperfield, Lady Audley's Secret, The Moonstone, Frankenstein, The Island of Doctor Moreau
I did a degree in literature, I will read pretty much anything.

Poetry: Seamus Heaney, Phillip Larkin, Wilfred Owen, Seigfried Sassoon, Shakespeare, Byron, Keates

Films: Harry Potter, A Walk To Remember, The King's Speech, Forrest Gump, That Thing You Do, Extraordinary Measures, Moulin Rouge, Withnail & I, Lord of The Rings, Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet
I have an extensive DVD collection, but those are my top films I can watch over and over again. I also have a guilty pleasure for Disney.

TV: The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, Glee, Buffy, ER, Friends, Outnumbered, How I Met Your Mother, The Mighty Boosh, Life On Mars, Ashes To Ashes, Black Books, Fawlty Towers, Have I Got News For You, The Tudors, QI.
I also enjoy documentaries.

Comedians: Dylan Moran, Dara O'Briain, Ross Noble, Sean Lock, Jack Whitehall, Lee Mack

Plays: Anything Shakespeare, particularly Hamlet, An Inspector Calls, The Alchemist, Journey's End, The Revenger's Tragedy

Music: I have very varied taste in music, but confess a love of musicals and show tunes, and even sing in a show choir. To list my favourites would be a LONG list. I also enjoy listening to piano instrumentals.
Love lots of British music. Home grown talent and all that!
Currently big on Killers, Queen, Michael Buble, Josh Groban, as well as some 80s classics, and Helen Jane Long

Musical Theatre: Wicked, The Lion King, We Will Rock You, Les Miserables

Food: I love Italian food, but also like proper good home cooked comfort foods too! I have Monica-like cooking skills, and take it as a personal insult if anything I've cooked has burnt.
Six things I could never do without
1) My family & friends
2) My dog
3) A good book
4) My iPhone & headphones for the iPod setting
5) A never-ending notebook and a never-ending pen. (I am working on plans to create these)
6) My bed
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What would happen if cats develop thumbs, and if they staged an uprising, whether dogs would take our side.
Stopping procrastinating
Whether I can actually learn to use The Force to move things, so I don't have to move myself.
Current affairs
My friends and family.
The stars
How unfair the rich/poor divide is, and why people don't do more to help their fellow man, or suffering animals.

I tend to have an inner monologue playing, rather like J.D. from Scrubs, and it's often accompanied by mental images. I am normal though, honest.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either out enjoying myself with people I adore, or being refined with good company, or just vegging out in front of the TV unwinding. It varies from week to week.
I'd like my Friday nights to be a mix of going out for a couple of drinks once a month or so, and the others curled up on the sofa watching a film with someone significant.
I'm not one for clubbing every week, to be honest, I'm not a fan of clubs, mainly because I usually end up being pushed over, often into a speaker and thus deafened, having drinks poured over me, and even vomitted on. Not my idea of a fun night!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm dyslexic

Oh, and I get scared in Jumanji still.
You should message me if
I'm changing this to....

You don't have a proper grasp on the English language

You're orange (and I'm not saying hair, I mean if you bathe in fake tan)

You think it's fine to message me with "hey u got webcam? wud luv u 2 do a webcam show 4 me"

You're only interested in my legs and cleavage.

Your profile picture is a shot of your "hot abs"

You think Twilight is romantic
