My self-summary
You must keep reading below to learn. Sorry I'm not sorry.
What I’m doing with my life
Living the East Bay dream. Really though, why doesn't everyone live here yet? As someone from SoCal, I swear this place is the literal best. Anyone who wants to nerd out with me about local history, urban planning, and/or architecture is entirely welcome to. :-D

So I went to school at Cal imagining for those four years that I would end up working for the city helping folks through the redevelopment agency or through something else selfless and rewarding. Well it didn't work out that way, but the new gig and direction are truly fascinating. It certainly keeps me engaged.

Though work will take up a good chunk of the week I try to explore the bay more on the weekends. Trouble with exploring more of this amazing place is that I have already found so many good spots that I just keep returning to them knowing how wonderful they are.
I’m really good at
Brewing, running, high fiving, personal and macro finance, driving fast cars
The first things people usually notice about me
Height, eyes, and eyelashes

Long and strange conversations with many tangents.

Six things I could never do without
Fermented things, caffeine, literature, the internet, good food, conversation
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Socioeconomics, beer, mad science, cooking dishes I don't have time to prepare anymore, adventures to go on, how only a few years difference in age in us twenty-somethings means worlds of difference in our minds......relativism, how Barney Stinson's success rate is pretty representative of the norm (1.2%) meaning dating success is sadly more a product of probability than personality
On a typical Friday night I am
It sounds lame to admit it, but sometimes I am still at work.

When I get to do what I envision in my ideal world....I am enjoying some fine beverages with good friends, at a good concert, or sometimes even just relaxing with a good book.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am not sure if it is a big secret, but many have told me that am an old soul. I guess the secret would be that I actually like it that way sometimes.
You should message me if
If you have something that drives you in life. An interest, passion, need...

But really, if you have something to say that will expand my mind I really want to hear it. I love to learn all sorts of new things from folks.
