My self-summary
Well hello. I noticed you standing there noticing me, noticing you, notice me. Mountain-coast transplant to the Mid-West and a content Bucktown resident.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a mid-level manager in a large corporation. Also managing an ever-growing/never slowing collection of fountain pens and western shirts. I plan to get off the continent this spring/summer. I'm not sure where yet... Take me to Canada. Trying to fall in love with running again, but this damned weather keeps getting the better of me.
I’m really good at
Making your parents like me (which will probably make you hate me).
Making lentil soup.
Snowboarding like the average person from my original locale.
Crafty. And handy. Don't let the lack of beard fool you. I have flannels and work boots to make up for it.
Cutting my own hair.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am a fairly unoffensive and upright-walking member of the human race.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Cormac McCarthy is my current favorite author and everything else is on ice until I finish his fine catalogue of highly descriptive run-on sentences. "Hell's Angels" by H.S. Thompson, Pressfield's "The War of Art" are favorites, and "Tribe" by Sebastian Junger.

All of my favorite movies came out between 1981-89 like Aliens, Ghost Busters, Back to the Future II and Mad Max: Return to Thunderdome.

Music-wise, my go-to is indie-rock from the last 20ish years, but I also like Motown/R&B, classic rock, and country classics, buckaroo.
Six things I could never do without
The oft overlooked semicolon; I couldn't live without it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
They call 'em "fingers", man, but you never really see 'em do any fing-ing... OH- there they go!
On a typical Friday night I am
Rock climbing, rocking-out, being a garage hermit, or dropping in unannounced on friends/family.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've read the Hunger Games trilogy.

-You would like to:
-Go to a show
-Go for a drive
-Go hiking
-Go check out a new town
Seriously, you should meet me.
