My self-summary
Third culture kid. If you identify with that, extra points. I'm Canadian-born, lived in USA, England, Switzerland, and approximately 60% of people think I sound Irish, which I don't mind at all. Just finishing off a year of work in Hull, moving to Scunthorpe in August to commence my F2 year - I'm a doctor currently working for the NHS. I struggle to separate work from leisure; medicine is a lot of what I talk about and am interested in. It consumes a lot of my time.

Outside of medicine, I love photography, video games (add me on Steam!), music ( - when I say I like most things, I'm not just being lazy), reading (mainly scifi/fantasy/romance, but I will devour whatever books I can get). I'd love to be able to write or draw but sadly suffer from lack of talent. I hope to be able to learn the violin.

Equal rights, feminism, LGBTQ, etc are very important to me. I value being multicultural over patriotism. I feel understanding one another is the key to happiness. If you have an issue with any of these things, we would probably not get along.

I also really adore good grammar. Just sayin'.

I'm currently in a relationship with a wonderful man, but we are both polyamorous. I am not actively seeking any other romantic relationships, but I am open to something developing.
What I’m doing with my life
Starting work as an SHO in Scunthorpe in August. Watching a lot of youtube, cooking shows, and netflix. Trying to break out my DSLR to go to take photos of things. I'm super good at napping and making myself into a blanket burrito.
I’m really good at
My style of humour is noticeable and makes people laugh - I'm incredibly self-deprecating. I'm an introvert and often require lots of time to chill out and not be social, but I'm also strangely good at drawing other people out of their shells. I'm a pretty good cook, I'm decent at archery, I love sketching (even if I'm bad), and my pro skills are napping and wasting time on the internet like a boss.
The first things people usually notice about me
How short I am. I'm 149 cm so the first people might notice of me is the elbow they've just stuck in my face. I have a slight thing for tall guys (although height is not an issue!) so it's doubly awkward! I make fun of myself more than anyone else though - I'm not brilliant at taking myself seriously.

The six things I could never do without
I could take this literally but how boring would that be?

the internet, books, dogs, music, caffeine, pencils to doodle and twiddle and chew.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what the future holds. I can get a bit down sometimes but I try to overcome that, with varying success rates. I tend to get really focused on immediate problems and I'm not so brilliant at seeing the big picture.
On a typical Friday night I am
at home, face in books, sadly. (or at least pretending). My ideal Friday night would be friends, drinks for those who want, games and laughs! possibly plus cuddles.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not great at letting people get to know me. for reasons. I sometimes drink too much, and I'm working on healthier habits all around.

On a lighter note, I'm pretty inexperienced but have great aspirations. I have a FL, if you know what that means well...*eyebrow wiggle*
You should message me if
you like quirky, occasionally difficult, nightowls who prowl the internet by night and are supergirl medics by day.
