My self-summary
"There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness."
~Friedrich Nietzsche

Master craftsman, locally grown procrastinating boat builder. Aspiring foodie and world class pillow fighter.

Bridgebuilder. Not metaphoric bridges. Big concrete and steel things. With cars and people on 'em. Lol, so I'm great with my hands. And not that it isn't exciting, it does leave me many opportunities to pursue my dream of starting my business as a fire eating, bush pilot/steampunk mad scientist and leaving me free to relax most weekends with a good book, catching up with friends or catching all the movies/shows everyone seems to want me to watch (do people really have time for all that?!) or maybe just gaming with my minions (er, kids).

As for the kind of woman I find attractive… Active, both mentally and physically, enjoys the outdoors, enjoys fantastic home cooked meals (I love cooking for people), and occasionally likes rocking out at a show, or going to whatever con, faire, parade, concert that sounds interesting.

ESTP Myers Briggs if this matters. But apparently all my scores are in the middle somewhere.
What I’m doing with my life
I've been building stuff since I was 19 and dropped out of college.
Raising my amazing kids.
Looking for the next big adventure.
Seriously, is it too late to learn to be a fire eater?
I’m really good at
I am amazing at not filling this section out. Really, very, very talented.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, followed by the fact that I am a huge tease.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I am a closet Science Fiction geek.

Movies easier to give my favorite directors: Joss Whedon, Stanley Kubrick, Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese, Luc Besson, Quentin Tarantino, Terry Gilliam, Joel Coen & Ethan Coen, James Cameron, Tim Burton, Guillermo del Toro, Peter Jackson

Music: I listen to a little of anything as long as its good, especially good rock and roll. Karaoke!

Food: Omnivore, I'm always looking for my next food experience as long as my wallet and my waistline hold out.
The six things I could never do without
Lets see, skip the regular boring junk,

The feel of silk against my skin
The taste of chocolate
The sound of laughter
The scent of fresh brewed coffee...
and two more things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How everything I seem to know I learned from The Princess Bride and Doctor Who. Oh, and David Bowie. A touch of Douglas Adams. That would explain the unfortunate bowtie phase I think...
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends or playing games with my teenage sons. Depending on the weekend.
You should message me if
Warning: if you can’t hold onto a conversation about more than what Brad and Angelina did last summer, we’re not the best match. On the other hand, if you know what you want, and aren’t afraid of having a ton of fun while going after it, send me a message and let’s chat...
