My self-summary
I believe in only doing things you are passionate about. Everything else is just a waste of time. I think its important to laugh and explore your surroundings and the world.
What I’m doing with my life
This summer I'm co-writing and directing a TV show about middle school (its like Freaks & Geeks meets Always Sunny, but in middle school). It's insanity. Like we have been entrusted with gobs of $$$ to make 6 episodes of a show, and I'm not talking about a webseries. So right now my life is total madness, it's pretty much my every waking hour. Also I'm stoked to hang out with close to 45 middle school kids this summer.

I'm a filmmaker (director, editor, cameraman etc.) I do freelance camera work to pay the bills but I spend most of my free time writing and performing in a sketch comedy troupe with my best friends. And in the summers I am in the raddest dance-theatre company in CA.
I’m really good at
Dancing to Robyn - really, I won a contest!
Making sculptures out of hot glue
The first things people usually notice about me
The Beard... endless jokes about birds living in it and saving food for later
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm never as happy as when I'm reading Kurt Vonnegut.

My movie list could probably go on forever so I'll just say that I LOVE Eternal Sunshine, Jurassic Park, The Fall and Touch Of Evil. Also love French New Wave films and Film Noir.

Breaking Bad is the best show on TV. Arrested Development & Faulty Towers are the funniest things that ever happened. I could also rewatch all 6 Sherlock episodes over, and over, and over...

These days I'm digging The Mars Volta, St. Vincent, The Joy Formidable, Florence & The Machine, Portugal. The Man, Rodriguez and many more.

Burritos, Indian food, everything in Italy, good coffee, a really good salad.
Six things I could never do without
1. Best Friends
2. Pink Floyd
3. Mexican food
4. My bicycle
5. Mountain trails (been missing them way too much here)
6. I have this coat, it's become one of my most prized possessions, it's a green sweatshirt, with a southwestern patterned trim, and it's got this hood-flap in the back with an armadillo on it, it's wierd cause it's not really a functional hood, just a flap where the hood would be. Anyway it's awesome so I'm gonna say that's my 6th.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
That I should be doing yoga. But still I'm not. It's really getting bad, it's been like a year...
On a typical Friday night I am
Writing offensive sketches at my favorite 24hr hookah bar in Brooklyn, at a concert, hanging on the fire escape with my roomies, or drinkin' with my besties. *revised, for the moment to trying to figure out how to make this tv show. 24 hours...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I live out of my suitcase because I never unpack my laundry. It's not because I'm lazy I just like how impermanent is feels.
