What I’m doing with my life
I'm a stagehand.

I meditate, and have started to explore tarot as a spiritual tool.

I like to challenge myself physically. Lately that means climbing, in addition to yoga, and other gym-type activities.
I’m really good at
Knitting, cooking, achieving balance, listening, following, snuggling, being mindful, tying knots.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have kind of a quirky way of dressing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am eclectic in all my tastes. I think I appreciate variety more than anything else.

I'm reading a lot these days. Everything from classic literature to comic books. I'm really excited about Sex Criminals and Saga. I just finished The Goldfinch. When my eyes get tried I listen to the Neverwhere radio play.

The Princess Bride is my favorite movie. Most of the movies I watch over and over are silly, campy, and bad in a good way like Dr. Horrible and Sean of the Dead. I also like fairy tales, sci fi, animation, and gratuitous special effects.

I don't know what's currently on TV. I doubt I ever will. The only thing I miss about cable is The Food Network. It was frustrating to have to wait a year between seasons of Game of Thrones but it leaves me open to checking out things like Sherlock and Orange is the new Black and House of Cards. It's good that I can stream the Daily Show, and I don't think I'll ever get tired of Battlestar Galactica.

I used to say that music was one of the most important things in my life. It's still very important, but stories and story telling have moved up to share space with it. I spend a lot of time listening to a lot of different things like....The Beatles, Ani Di Franco, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Death Cab For Cutie, The Decemberitst, Johnny Cash, Beck, Vampire Weekend, The Mountain Goats, Mucca Pazza, Radiohead, Ella Fitzgerald, Johnathan Coulton, Stars, Mike Doughty, and The Avett Brothers.
I never miss an episode of The Savage Lovecast, Radiolab, or The Moth.

I cook most of my own meals. Lately its been a lot of curries and some approximations of Chinese take out dishes. When I eat out it's usually for sushi, or a good burger.
Six things I could never do without
bacon, music, connection, the ability to laugh at life, weekday brunch, shenanigans
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The beer list.

Social conventions and mores and weather they'er worth deferring to.

Sex. In the way you're thinking and also sex positivity/negativity in various cultures and situations and how to make things better for everyone.
On a typical Friday night I am
Making the magic of theater, and then hopefully getting tied up with some friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm in a poly relationship with Sorrowsheart. He's a big part of my life. We both like to meet and connect with other people, and we value trust and open communication. We also reserve the right to fuck others.
You should message me if
You're passionate about things.
You have a decent idea of who you are and who you could become.
You're just as willing to talk about sex, feelings, and issues as you are the last movie you saw.

You're toppy, sadistic, and feminist. Or some similar variation.

You want to get a drink around midnight on a weeknight, or wander around the city on a weekday afternoon.
The two of us
