I am a fairly recent widower, married for 27 years and am looking to join life again! I crave fun; boating, biking, barbeques and enjoying good times with friends and family, and getting out doing exciting and interesting things after this long-ass winter we have endured. The profile pics are from a year or so ago, and the rest are fairly current...within the last few years, as you can see not a tremendous amount of change other than facial hair, which by the way am strongly thinking of shaving off AGAIN! LOL
I aim to get back into swimming after a long hiatus (for multiple reasons) here's a link I found which I thought inspirational as an an "experienced swimmer/racer" I have been out of the game for too damn long and need to spin up at a reasonable pace.... Enjoy!
I'm pretty darn handy, from cars and bikes to homes and plumbing.... even got all the RIGHT tools to get the job done! I know how things work and if not can usually figure them out or come up with something better. I like mechanisms, flow patterns and some chemistry (a little bit anyway, can you say covalent bonds, I knew ya could) and have worked in the medical industry for most of my career.
I've been told I'm a good kisser.... which is easy as I like passionate kissing!
I'm good at massage, hot oil and stones.... I can melt your tensions away!
I have a knack for style and sensitivity to form, and yes I can work an art show or museum with the best of them! I'm good at fashion, color acute and know the where's and why's of proper dressing and can put an outfit together in a heart beat!
I LOVE food, all kinds but tend to drift towards seafood and shell fish! Love oysters.... yum! Not that freshwater fish isn't good Trout is one of the best foods on the face of the planet!
Bikes - Moto and pedal
a nice red, Jameson or even Prairie cucumber infused Vodka (but not all at once and not to extremes either).
Sushi (rolls mostly, dragon, crunchy, California etc)
A hearty French Roast coffee.... especially on cool mornings
The sun rise breaking across the morning sky and a full moon at night - Truly special events if you can appreciate them
Also the way our lives and society's have changed, we have replaced the elders, the seekers, and the shaman, with doctors of various flavors ready to rapturously dispense pills and medication to calm our nerves and sooth our desperation.... where is love, where is conviction, the true understanding and knowledge for the situation. Don't get me wrong here, I like science and technology, it's in my field and am comfortable with it and the development that it takes..... but the polarization bothers me. These kinds of things make me wonder.
OK the last link expired, hope this one works!
