I am happy hanging out with friends or by myself. I love reading, movies, getting out in Nature or walking a beach. I have always been in good shape but since I have taken a more sedentary job I have grown a bit in the middle and I now have to work on it. I have been told by my supervisors in evaluations that I have a razor sharp wit and that in my position it may prevent me from becoming management but my friends and family seem to appreciate it so I may have to give up management as a hobby. I am looking for someone with wit and humor and an appreciation of the simple joys in life.
I am not pretentious and I love to skewer those who are. I will never run out of material in The O.C. (God I hate that abbreviation!) mainly because of people that love that abbreviation.
Movies are all over the place. The Godfather, John Carter, Constantine, Metropolis, It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, The Great Race, The Exorcist, Blazing Saddles, Miller's Crossing, Raising Arizona, A Fish Called Wanda, Kelly's Heroes, Scrooged, Koyanisqattsi (spelling probably lacking), Big Hand for the Little Lady, Little Big Man, Angel Heart, The Last Samurai, MI 4....and th list goes on.
I can't live without the Daily Show and just about any HBO or Showtime Series: Rome, True Blood, Dexter, The Pacific, Boardwalk Empire and many more....past and present.
My musical tastes include most everything from 30's and 40's Swing to Classic Blues and Jazz. 60's Rock to 90's Grunge. 30's and 40's Country (I have no use for today's depressing whining country music) to 80's heavy Metal ala Iron Maiden and judas Priest. Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles. The Who and The Kinks and the Hollies.
I have even developed a taste for Opera.
As far as food is concerned....I'll try anything once!
I love Japanese, Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Italian, Mongolian, American, Cuban, Lebanese, Greek, Nepalese, Indian, Persian....you name it.
