My self-summary
My name is Tom. I like talking to people and learning stuff about them. Iced coffee is the shit, and I also like Chinese buffets, and -- come to think of it -- ALL buffets.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as an IT engineer, and I love what I do, but I want to travel the world! Seriously! I've been to a few other countries already, but I'd love to go to anywhere in Europe or Asia. I really want to go to Scandinavia, because, you know, goats 'n shit.
I’m really good at
Piano, Computers, Diplomacy, Unleashing the chaos of the Old Gods, Baking, Bicycling...
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile. I tend to do it a lot, and people respond positively, which I, in turn, respond positively to, and smile more, and then they respond positively to that to which I smile more, and then it just keeps going and going in a circle until we realize we've accomplished nothing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
1984, Devil in the White City, Great Expectations, Dress your Family in Corduroy and Denim, Ender's Game, Harry Potter, Fahrenheit 451

The Prestige, The Nolan Batman Trilogy, Inception, American Beauty, The Departed, Revolutionary Road,

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Breaking Bad, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Trailer Park Boys, The (early) Simpsons, Family Guy, South park, Adult Swim circa 2003

Jazz, Jazz-Rock, Pop, Classical; Gershwin, Oscar Peterson, Hiromi Uehara, Beethoven, Bach

I recently stumbled across a genre called Vaporwave, to which my ears are confusedly attracted to.

The six things I could never do without
Piano, Computers, Video Games, Family, Friends, Magnets
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Peoples' knees. Cover your knees up if you're gonna be walkin' around everywhere!

And, to clarify:
On a typical Friday night I am
Eating somewhere, eating everywhere, eating nowhere, playing video games, playing piano, on the internet, or all of the above while hanging out with friends and sharing drinks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love thrift stores and garage sales. There's nothing more exciting than finding some obscure, awesome, one-of-a-kind item in a pile of other garbage. It's kind of like winning the micro-lottery.
You should message me if
You're looking for a fun guy to hang out with, and share some laughs and some drinks!
