My self-summary
Techie, singer, musician, tennis player, hiking group leader. I enjoyed travel throughout the USA and in Europe, Asia and Australia.

My usual vocation as systems analyst, creating loose harmony between people and machines, was aided by an academic background in psychology and computer science. I am a prodigy of UNL's experimental stepchild -- Centennial Education Program.

I have no addictions, loose ends or skeletons in the closet. I am confident but not cocky. As an INTP, I am a bit introverted but I can fake extroversion. I am a 60+ active, youthful, still evolving latent wanderer. I have a taste for the quirky, the absurd and a dry sense of humor.

I was an active bicyclist during 10 years living in Germany. I traveled a lot via Europe's very convenient train systems. The next nine years were in lovely Honolulu, one of those rare places where my office could be seen from aerial postcards: inside Hawaii's Diamond Head Crater.

Moving on: I am an unapologetic rational liberal. I especially enjoy open, challenging, stimulating, witty and sometimes intellectual conversation. I am not a party or crowd person and I feel more comfortable one on one or in small groups. I am usually a very considerate person.
What I’m doing with my life
I love southern Nevada for year-round tennis and hiking but due to my dormant wanderlust, I am considering relocation. I prefer warm, sunny, progressive and musical. California is one of my top preferences although I am now toying with the idea of expat life overseas for a few years, possibly in internationally popular Antalya or relatively peaceful Fethiye, both on the Turkish Riviera aka Turquoise Coast.

expat research
I’m really good at
musical improvisation, imagination, pattern-recognition, online research and distilling complexity into more compact and useful forms. I am also alleged to be skilled at massage.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
“We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”
--- Dr Seuss / Robert Fulgham

Do you like casual tennis? I started a new free Tennis Meetup group.

Curious about decades old (19) quirky "dark" poetry?
Here's my Whispers From the Fire --

Sadly, I'm also kind of a news junkie (MSNBC/PBS/online)

You should message me if
... in soft tones, your keen intuitive senses unexpectedly speak to you and it's late and you're just too damned tired to resist.

In other news: it's a subjective practice but I tend to only click on profiles with a fairly high OKC match. I will note that a partner who smokes, even infrequently, would just never work out.
