My self-summary
In a nut-shell: I'm a California transplant working as a visual designer with a software and devices company based out of Redmond, WA. Let your imagination run wild with who that might be. The creative arts, how all of it's different fields intersect and manifest in life, fascinate me. It took me a while to figure out that this had to be a part of my future, and I am incredibly grateful I was able to realize that and make it happen.

I ride my bike(s) everywhere, and have more of them sitting around than I know what to do with. I've traveled through 20 countries over 4 continents (including this one), 47 of the 50 states, and am trying to figure out where to hit next. It's long overdue. I consider myself a city kid, but I've always had a good time camping and kinda wish I could do that more often. I follow the Oakland Raiders, San Francisco Giants and the Golden State Warriors, no matter how they're doing. Miraculously, they're all doing well. Even the Raiders (for now).

I'm left handed and proud of it. And I always keep a "to-do" list written on the back of my right hand. I have a cat named Ron. He's pretty cool, he likes to play fetch. I own my home, which I'm glad I did when I did, cause I'm not sure I'd be able to do it now.

Sometimes I feel like Will Freeman from About A Boy. Only with a job and debt. And not a misogynistic asshole. Things turned out ok for him in the end, right?
What I’m doing with my life
Short term, I'm taking a bike apart & figuring out how I want to build it back up. Long term, figuring out what my next move in life will be. Work in progress.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I had a long itemized list that broke out each of these categories, but it was always changing. I'll just say that the last great meal I had was the grilled pork collar at Stateside, the last great show I watched was Bojack Horseman, and the last great movie I caught was Moonlight. I don't go to shows often, but sometimes I like catching punk & hardcore bands at Black Lodge.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The past, present, and the future. All the time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sometimes I'm out with friends getting after work drinks, or catching a movie. Sometimes I'm just eating dinner, working on a bicycle and watching Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I think Kanye West is a creative genius. An emotionally unstable, egotistical, asshole man-child of a genius, but a genius nonetheless. Those qualities seem to exist in a lot musical geniuses.

*edit* - in this still unraveling-Trump world, my take on Kanye has gone downhill a bit. Still think he's a creative genius, but damn man. Why?
You should message me if
If you like what I've got, and you think I'll like what you've got.
