My self-summary
So, what brings you here? Hopefully something similar to what brought me here, looking for you.

I love my dogs, but they kept outside the house - at all times. My home is kept need and tidy, but not fastidiously so. My son and I eat healthy almost every night, but we are not averse to the occasional indulgence.

I'm drawn to women who are empathetic and intelligent. With a get-up-an-go attitude.

I appreciate someone with good emotional intelligence, which I need sometimes when I lock up emotionally (when I feel emotionally numb).

Having reached a point in my life where a long term relationship is no longer a priority, I am looking for a special person, who has conversation skills, with whom to share nice eat-outs with, cultural events and the occasional movie nights.

If something more develops, so be it, if not, that's cool too!!!

I live a diverse, demanding life, but that being said, I'm not adverse to an arrangement with someone looking for mentorship and a little help in life.
What I’m doing with my life
A hopefully healthy mix of short-term and long-term plans. Keeping my family together. Helping my fellow-man/woman. Believing in the best of others while supporting them in becoming the best they can be.
I’m really good at
Listening, chatting, communicating, debating, cycling (road & MTB), table-tennis, socialising, acting unflappable, motivating others.
The first things people usually notice about me
I look less formidable than I sound. I'm very warm and approachable. People are drawn to being in close proximity. I've also been told I am quite expressive.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Too many books to mention - I have libraries! Movies-action to get me lost in the moment - preferably LOUD. Live rock concerts. I live for my music - I have played bass guitar in a professional capacity. Food - fuel for my body, with the occasional indulgence.
Six things I could never do without
Only 6? .. okay:
1. God
2. Human contact
3. My kids
4. Intellectual stimulation
5. Intimacy
6. Living a full life with freedom
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to bring out and harness the best in people. My personal contribution to making the world better for my being here. And how to best exercise the freedoms I have in taking my mind and body as far as it will go.
On a typical Friday night I am
Looking back at how many of my goals I've achieved for the week. Doing something (or nothing) to unwind. And planning a host of weekend activities involving my preteen son.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm open-minded to a lot of weird ideas like past-lives, TM, astral travel and so on.
You should message me if
you're drawn to men who have started companies and movements, men who have built fascinating and successful careers for themselves, who have money in the bank, meaningful assets, dreams they actually attain. Children, families. Men who are organized and who have people depending on them. Real men, in other words.
The two of us
