My self-summary
I am a forest, and a night of dark trees: but she who is not afraid of my darkness, will find banks full of roses under my cypresses.

Hello, I'm Nick. I'm quirky. I'm abstract. I'm obtuse. I'm driven by my desire to obtain knowledge and make meaning of it. I aspire to be an intellectual, but I don't foster any illusions of self-importance. I don't want to come across as a pretentious douchebag. I'm writing this at 2:23 AM so clearly I'm a night owl. I find myself seeking meaningful and mutual understanding. I love learning and I love sharing information and ideas. I'm not particularly outdoorsy (though I'm not opposed to it necessarily), so I tend to be a homebody, a lost child raised on a steady diet of media consumption and internet. I'm sometimes clever and funny though I'm not going to pretend that this profile is necessarily a reflection of that. Just trust me, okay? You could say I'm a Woody Allen fan in an Adam Sandler world. I'm an INFP if you're an MBTI follower such as myself. Anything else you'd like to know, feel free to ask. I'm always a fan of questions.
What I’m doing with my life
I intend on finishing my undergraduate degree and will eventually pursue teaching after a masters.
I’m really good at
Writing, theory, computers, videogames, introspection, and Milli Vanilli dance contests. If you're apart of the younger set or somehow don't know the awesomeness that was Milli Vanilli, read up about them here
You could have done that on your own, but I was nice enough to spare you the extra clicks of a mouse and keyboard. You're welcome.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes without a doubt.

There are a ton of other documentaries I really enjoyed that I'm not naming to spare your attention span.

I also really love The Beatles, particularly after John Lennon experimented with hallucinogens.

Six things I could never do without
1. another pointless list
2. water
3. delusions of grandeur
4. indoor plumbing
5. the opposable thumb
6. iPhone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Politics, psychology, philosophy, literature, dystopian fiction, art, music, dating and how capitalism influences it, unnatural selection, conspiracy theory, revolution, Truth, and anything else that engages my abstract way of thinking.
On a typical Friday night I am
doing stand up at the Sterling Correctional Facility (I love a captive audience).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I rock the mic like no one's business on karaoke night. My mornings sometimes consist of me singing 80's Depeche Mode songs as I dance around in my plaid bathrobe.
