My self-summary
First of all: I love taking long walks with my dog, which is a perfect occasion for thinking about all sorts of things. However, sometimes I tend to think too hard about one thing, which I can stop by reading good books. To stay in shape I go swimming as often as I can, and jolly-boat sailing.
The little time left I spent with my family (sometimes the complain that it's not enough time) and discussing with friends.

What I’m doing with my life
During the last two years, I changed my life essentially. Before, I was trapped in the probably well-known circle of work, being tired out, more work, being even more tired out etc.
It was clear that something had to change, but I needed a trigger. This trigger was my dog. I had to take care about her, get myself up and out into nature (daily and in any kind of weather), and suddenly it was all easy: reduce the working time, start going in for sports, even change my nutrition (which I tried for years without success).
The result was that I lost about 12 kilos and feel better than ever. Maybe you know the feeling that you just don't fit into your body. That will never happen again.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: mainstream like the "Lord Of The Rings" and "Harry Potter". But apart from that I'm crazy about historical novels, especially by Rebecca Gablé und Ken Follet.
In my youth I was a Beatles fan (I still am, but I listen to their music not too often anymore). Since I visited one of his concerts, I think James Blunt is absolutely great. Words and music perfectly fit together ... I know, this might be a bit uncommen for men :-)
