My self-summary
My name is Matt and I am a very outspoken person who loves the outdoors, architecture, and writing. I usually speak what's on my mind and I am not afraid of trying new things. I have an extensive background in all phases of commercial and residential construction and am an all-around handyman. I am a very busy individual (juggling two jobs, repairing my house after Hurricane Sandy, and a full time student), I am looking for someone who is hard working, independent and can get used to my busy lifestyle. I hope to find someone who can accept me for who I am and is on their own path of success.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a student studying architecture but my real passion is writing and developing software, but it is always good to have a back up plan. I try to go to as many music festivals and shows as I can, and I love building and designing things. I work for an Architect as of now while getting my degree and license and I couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with. I am constantly on the search for knowledge and inspiration and I do my best to inspire others to achieve their goals and individual success.
I’m really good at
writing, architecture, cooking, laughing, loving, welding, drawing, building things, landscapes, gardening, singing!!, playing music (guitars, violins, pianos, mandolins, anything I can get my hands on!), giving advice, debating, word-smithing, building furniture, loving life, completing goals.
The first things people usually notice about me
I can make you laugh.

A lot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books.... are the best! I like to read fantasy novels most of all dealing with medieval history or sci-fi, but I also enjoy reading history, philosophy and books on Zen-Buddhism, of which most of my hedonistic lifestyle is based off of. Some things I like to read are Sword of Truth, Wheel of Time, A Song of Ice and Fire, Dragonlance, Nietsche, Kant, Aristotle.. books about politics, Chris Hedges is the man.

Television is bad! But shows are good! Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Dexter, 24, Falling Skies, HIYMYM, things like that. I'm very open to new shows, especially ones that have an enveloping storyline. etc.

I like the Grateful Dead..

and.. bluegrass, some techno, I grew up listening to things from the 90's and metal.

Devil Makes Three, Old Crow Medicine Show, Black Label Society, Pantera, Lamb of God, Sublime, George Harrison and the Beatles, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, Blues Traveler, Ratdog, Phil Lesh and Friends, Jerry Garcia Band, NOFX, Offspring, Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica... I can go on and on, I love music, I couldn't live without it, I also like some political/thoughtful rap as well like Living Legends, Zion, and Hieroglyphics, but leave the 'gangsta' stuff at the door please.
The six things I could never do without
My own transportation.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to help humanity, how to help people, how to make people happy, my own success, how to stop war, how to build innovative things, how to solve the energy crisis, how to fix the economy, how to stop the fed, how to design green buildings, how to spread the word, how to get to that next show, how to cure cancer, how to stop gmos in our food supply, how to get my house back, how to be better everyday, how to give clean water to the world, how the hell does light speed work, who killed jfk, how to find the truth, how to live healthy, how im going to get to a river today, what's for lunch
On a typical Friday night I am
Having a damn good time, lol. Going on roadtrips, pool, beach, dancing, fishing, bar hopping, movies, food, going to the gym, looking at art, reading political theory, architorture, blah...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Why would I admit a private thing? o.o
