I would say that I'm a bit of a romantic idealist. I still have an innocent side to me that seeks out the good in people. There are certain things that I feel strongly about. I still believe in holding the door for a lady (and old folks). I think that two people can have separate lives, but still remain the center of each others world. I don't think screaming is acceptable, even when arguing. Violence against women in any form is bad. I would say I have some old fashioned ideals. I am also very progressive socially. I believe in a person's choice in all matters that do not adversely affect another. I lean towards the liberal side on most things. I am libertarian.
I am open, spontaneous, and honest
3) My Strat
4) Satellite radio
6) My family
That is a list of the six things I would rather not do without. I have lost or been without all or some of these things at some point in my life. I'm still here.
Alternative Energy. Particularly heating and cooling. In Florida the amount of energy used to air condition homes and huge warehouse size stores is stagering. The AC is the biggest power user in the home. I like to think about different building materials and utilizing solar resources. I read some articles about Nadir Khalili, an Iranian architec who moved to California in the 70's, and his ideas about firing an entire ceramic house in place. Very cool stuff. Imagine if your house was like glazed ceramics. Beautiful, maintenance free, energy efficient, cost effective.....Like I said. I spend alot of time thinking about it.
