I'm a chaotic good thrillseeker, a leftist who only cares about ideology and discourse to the extent that it shapes praxis, and a perpetually evolving human. Who needs brakes when it's all downhill from here, right?
-Baking pecan pies
-Answering my phone in a timely manner
-Wearing pants when they aren't required
-Preventing myself from being injured by both menial *and* unusual things
-Reaching stuff without climbing
-Staying focused when there are animals around who are willing to accept my affection
The Lucifer Effect, Death by Black Hole and other Cosmic Quandaries, anything by Neil Gaiman. I tend to get passionately fixated on a topic and read about it until I lose interest. My favorite poet is Lang Leav and my favorite nonfiction topic to read about is sociology.
The Devil's Rejects, SLC Punk!, The Big Lebowski, Friday the 13th, A Dirty Shame, Female Troubles, From Dusk Til Dawn, House of 1000 Corpses, A Scanner Darkly, American Beauty, Party Monster, It's Such a Beautiful Day.
Rick and Morty, Bojack Horseman, It's Always Sunny. I don't particularly care about having cable so shows I like are usually viewed in binge format, other than UFC, which is viewed in sports bars.
I used to list a lot of stuff here but then I realized that musical elitism is really boring. I like most music and when I write it, it's usually folk punk with a touch of southern twang.
I'm an adventurous person. If I haven't tried it, I want to, and if I didn't like it, I probably still want to try it again later. My eating habits are an extension of that pattern.
