I've come to realize that the women that I'm into aren't all that into me and the ones that are into me I'm really not that into (Am I right? Can I get an amen up in here?) So as I head boldly into my forties I'm trying to pursue activities that will make me way more awesome than can be imagined by the human mind without the worry of trying to woo a female with my impressive mating dance (It's quite masterful, you would be immediately seduced). Doing some volunteer work, guitar lessons, salsa dancing, weird club dancing, trail running, reading more, eating healthier, watching too many movies..... yada, yada, yada. If you would like to hop on this train, help me out with some healthy recipes, or would just like someone to go to a concert or grab a coffee with, let me know!
Here is a testimonial from DancingQueenie -
"I met the Etrain a few years ago and was immediately impressed with his friendly, down to earth personality. Every time we get together seems to be a comedy of errors (a drive to the wineries which was supposed to be 1 hour turns into 3, New Year's plan cancelled at the last minute) and instead of stressing out this guy is laughing at the whole experience and is excited for whatever comes next. I love his ability to be so spontaneous and go with the flow! And how can you not appreciate a guy whose not afraid to get on the dance floor?! Needless to say, a night out with him is never boring. What more could you ask for?"
I'm sure she meant to add "and he's totally sexy". Maybe she assumed my pics would make that clear.
Basically taking each day as a new adventure.
Movies: I like almost all kinds of movies... love Tarantino and the Cohen brothers films. My favorite movie is probably "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"..(I know it's a chick flick, but I thought it was very profound)
Music: I think we owe everything to the Beatles. I love folk, rock, alternative... White Stripes, Mason Jennings... I just can't stand what passes for country. Give me some Johnny Cash!
looking forward to a fun hike
I daydream constantly and sometimes I'll bust out laughing out of nowhere about some hilarious thing in my head and people will look at me like I'm crazy.
I absolutely love to dance... but I'm a little freaky. Imagine a cross between John Travolta and Big Bird.
I once went on a date with a gal who I met on a dating website that basically wanted a green card marriage. She made a great dinner, but it wasn't that great. Awkward.....
Ok, that's enough for now.
