My self-summary
I've been described as a cross of Ben Wyatt and Ron Swanson from Parks and Rec. Accurate.

An eclectic old soul, happy, and loving life. Independent, egalitarian, a social butterfly, poly, outdoorsy, adventurous, quiet at times, proud but cautious libertine, cuddly as all hell, and pretty silly if I can help it.

Location: I'm from New Hampshire USA originally, I currently live in Singapore but will be moving to Brighton over the next few months. I travel much of the globe on a regular basis. I know right?
What I’m doing with my life
I love to take long road trips, read profusely, cook in portions non-representative of party size, and meet people that enrich my life.
I’m really good at
- Cooking! I especially like cooking regional food like Malay or Peranakan.

- Riding and working on motorcycles. The older the better.

- Talking to strangers.
The first things people usually notice about me
Oh my gosh is that ball of fur moving?! And it speaks in a charming American accent.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I have been reading a lot lately. I tend to travel with 4-5 books on me for good measure. Authors include - Malcom Gladwell, Clayton Christensen, Anthony Bourdain, Hunter Thompson, Kurt Vonnegut, Robert Frost, Tennyson, Richard Brautigan, Jo Nesbo, Thomas Piketty, Doyle, and LOTS of cookbooks.

Movies: Chances are I'm watching a documentary on your average weeknight. I've basically completed the library of most airlines.. I love well made sci fi, I don't typically like horror.

Shows: Sherlock, Star Trek, Eureka, Scrubs, Lie to Me, Firefly, Doctor Who, Archer, Hinterland, Dicte, Blacklist, The Wildest series, Planet Earth, Ken Burns series, Peaky Blinders, Blacklist.

Music: I like Jazz and Blues the most, but like a very wide variety. Everything from punk/metal to international oddities. Some of the bigger influences: Cat Power, Black Keys, Blockhead, Bob Dylan, Ali Farka Toure, Alabama Shakes, Andrew Bird, Amadou et Mariam, Ballake Sissoko, Beirut, Bon Iver, Buckwheat Zydeco, The Dead Weather, edIT, Johnny Hodges, Glitch Mob, GoGo Penguin, Greyhounds, Hilltop Hoods, Hospitality, Joni Mitchell, Leon Bridges, Low Roar, Mandolin Orange, Miles Davis, Mogwai, Nick Fucking Cave, Otis Redding, Oscar Peterson, Pretty Lights, Radiohead, Ray Lamontagne, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings (RIP 😥), Shilpa Ray, Sigur Ros, Thelonious Monk, Tom Waites, Velvet Underground, Warpaint, the xx

Food: gosh everything. Lots of regional and international in there. I geek out over Malay, Indonesian, Moroccan, Peranakan, and Cajun. Some of my favorite ingredients and flavors - worstershire sauce, mustards, ginger, onions, tea, everything to do with coconuts, nutmeg, citrus, whiskey, roux, duck, fish, chicken thighs, and lots of rice.
Six things I could never do without
- Motorcycles
- Cast iron skillets
- Well aged bourbon
- Blue note jazz
- Dinner parties with great company
- Cuddle times

On lucky magical days all those great things combine, and it is absolutely sublime.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- The percentage of my matches who hoola hoop as an activity.
- motorcycles, adventures, motorcycle adventures.
- Am I allowed to be a unicorn? Whats a male unicorn, a Narwhal? I'm a narwhal.
- The origin of belly button lint.
- Did OKC really change their icons to a hand juggling dicks and tits? Bless them.
- Beverly Crusher
On a typical Friday night I am
Friday has often been my chill day before a weekend full of adventure. Thus it is very plausible I am in pjs over a pot with a wood spoon sipping whiskey and soda.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Cutting onions make me cry like a little girl watching the beginning montage to Up. We're talking streams here.

FL?
You should message me if
You'd like to have poly dinner parties and show me your favorite places in the English countryside? ☺️

Oh, and you saw the open thing right? I'm in a wonderful marriage with a fantastic gal shirleytemple_87 (found on here no less searching for girls who liked whiskey). We're also open to, and searching for meeting new people to share all sorts of life experiences both together and apart. Pinky swear I'm not on here for just getting laid. One dimentional relationships are boring anyway.
