My self-summary
I used to be on here as a different user, but I deleted that account in hopes that I would never be single again, and here I am. I miss that username too...gah...that was a good one.

I'm a musician who plays the cello and the Irish flute mostly. I was classically trained in the cello, but since being in Ireland I've expanded my horizons to playing traditional music on it, along with folk music.

I've lived in Ireland for the past three years and I'm soon to start a PhD in traditional Irish cello that will, hopefully, keep me here for another four at least.

I'm basically an open book, and if there's something you want to know...don't beat around the bush, just ask me and I'll give you the answer plain and simple. The only thing I ask of you in return is to be open and honest with me.

I am really not attracted to wild-child girls at all, despite how crazy I can's never That bad. And if you've got pictures of yourself in a slutty Halloween costume, don't waste your time or mine please. I'd like someone I could call mine that the entire internet world hasn't seen.

I am funny, lax, and musical.
What I’m doing with my life
I've finished two MA degrees in Limerick and I spent the last year working at the college. I'm spending my Summer gigging and researching for the upcoming year.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at being a friend to people. I'm always the person who people can rely on when they're down in the dumps or when there is a problem that needs to be addressed. I'm really good at taking care of people and listening to what they need.

I'm always good at giving people a good laugh. Come to me if you need a smile.

I'm also really good at cooking and making hot tea.
The first things people usually notice about me
People always tend to look at my feet first, since I always wear flip flops throughout the year, even in the winter.....y'know unless I'm doing a gig or for other reasons. After that, I wouldn't really know. I will say that it's funny to me that people can't tell that I'm from the states.

I'm also a huge fan of NPR on the weekends.

I can't really list all of the other things I like to watch and read. Basically if it's on The History Channel, National Geographic Channel, or The Discovery Channel I'll watch it. I also like things on Comedy Central and Adult Swim.

I love making my own food and I have no real genre that I stick to there. I've really gotten into making Italian dishes. I also like to add twists to recipes and experiment with vegetarian themes a lot. I'll pretty-much try anything once.

I have to make special mention that I've been reading a new book lately that is a collection of folk tales from my home state in America. They are the most vulgar stories I've ever read, but simultaneously they make me laugh and they give me insight in to the culture of my are in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The book is called Pissing in the Snow.
Six things I could never do without
I couldn't do without my:

Irish flute
phone (damn you apple...)
flip flops
pocket knife.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about where I'm going in life. I know that's the typical cliche answer, but it's true. I'm also thinking about what my life would be like without things like arms or eyes and things like that. I have a very weird thought process.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most of the time I'm out with friends...either playing music or hanging out and talking over drinks. It depends on which Friday and which friends!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a terrifying addiction to hummus, and I listen to "Good King Wenceslas" entirely too much.

To the opposite of most people, I didn't tick "casual sex" with every other box.
You should message me if
I don't really have a reason for you to message me. I think you can come up with a few if, indeed, you choose to message me.

If you feel like doing it, go for it. If you don't, thanks for reading and I hope you find what you're looking for.
