My self-summary
I've been in the L.A. area for a little while, but I am originally from New York. Most people's first comment is that I don't have a NY accent!
I work in visual effects for movies and am passionate about what I do. In my field, I tend to work a lot; however, I always find time for friends.
Usually, I'll be out finding new things to do or try, and I can pretty much find fun doing anything.
What I’m doing with my life
I've been out here for about a year now, working in film visual effects. Looking back, I'm amazed at how many movies I've had the opportunity to help out on!
I know this'll sound like a California/filmmaker cliche, but I've written a few scripts and novels in the past and, now that I have time, I'd love to continue writing. Truth be told, I am rather quite awful at it, but I enjoy it immensly anyway.
I’m really good at
Making puppets. Not puppetry, mind you. Not ventriloquism, but the actual making of puppets. Muppet style, mostly, but I have dabled a bit in other varieties.
The first things people usually notice about me
I can't be held accountable for other people. What did you first notice about me?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a big movie guy, so I'll watch anything I haven't seen before. I love adventure, so I'm fluent Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.
Although, to contrast that, I also love really weird, obscure films like David Lynch, Alejandro Jodorowski, or bonus points if you're familiar with the reference in my username.
I'm a huge fan of bad movies as well. I've seen The Room more times than a man should take pride in admitting. And I love the fine works that star Sir Nicolas Cage, the greatest actor of ours, or any generation!
The six things I could never do without
I know this'll sound controversial, but I could never go a day without breathing. It's, like, my number 1 thing right now.

Beyond that, Id have to say baking and sewing (the manliest of the hobbies), toys, socks with that extra bit of cushioning at the heel (so comfy), and, mostly, trying new things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Spoons. You never know when there's going to be soup.
That, and new story ideas. I'm always thinking of new stories I wish to write.
On a typical Friday night I am
Well, you gotta get down on Friday!
However, (on a more serious note) if I am not working, I like nothing more than the peaceful simplicity of getting together with a small group of close friends, grabbing a drink or two, and engaging in discussing the adventures of the past week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If I told you what it was, that would very well contradict the definition of "private," now wouldn't it? Oh, you zany internet!
You should message me if
you think I sound interesting or would just like a fun conversation. Messages are cool!
