I travel whenever I can. I've been to more than forty countries and had countless adventures. Some of my recent travel adventures include staying up all night to climb a volcano in Guatemala and road-tripping to Bali with an Indonesian rock band that I met on couchsurfing.
On the side, I throw themed dinner party every month and then blog about it.
The flip side of this is that I can be surprisingly honest. In the words of a couchsurfer I met in Indonesia-"He likes to give direct opinion about phenomena happened around him. And find it very honest opinion from his heart."
Movies: Waking Life, Before Sunset, Eternal Sunshine, Gattaca, Lawrence of Arabia, Lost in Translation
Music: Built to Spill, Bon Iver, Geographer, Coltrane, City and Colour, Sigur Ros, Alt-J
Shows: Breaking Bad, How I Met Your Mother, Frasier, Six Feet Under, The Wire, Louie, Community, Modern Family, Parks and Recs
Food: I love comfort food from around the world like the soups I had in Colombia and homemade dumplings.
On the other side of the spectrum, I love spicy foods. I have more than two dozen ways in my kitchen to make something spicy.
The theme for my next dinner party-I've hosted dinner parties in five cities with themes ranging from food-on-a-stick to a Kimchi taco party with hand-rolled tortillas and homemade kimchi.
Where to travel next-I filled up a passport last year and am well on my way to filling another. Peru, Iceland, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, and Nepal are currently on my short list.
You have a wacky dinner party idea for me.
You think hiking in Napa is a good idea.
