My self-summary
I loathe self-summaries. They're the elevator pitches of the internet and almost always useless. I don't need to say I'm passionate - I need to *be* passionate. If you are able to accurately sum up an individual in around a hundred words you should be out there winning prizes for your capabilities.

Most of my hobbies are experiential and it can be hard to talk about them with people who haven't actually experienced them.
What I’m doing with my life
Advancing my carrier, working on the next belt, having fun.
I’m really good at
Listening and absorbing information.
The first things people usually notice about me
Either I am described as quiet and ninja-like or overeducated and 'know it all'

I like to think of it as having had a proper education.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Non-interactive media short answer: many things - I'm not a fan of miseryporn, misanthropy porn or other "Humanity is shit and you're shit for being part of it" productions.

Some Recent favorites - Skin Horse, Saga, Charles Stross' Laundry Series, Arrow, Kill la Kill, Witchcraft Works, Words God Only Knows, Archer, Warehouse 13, Person of Interest, Frozen, Killjoys, GATE, and Food Wars.

I have a weakness for Covers, Abridged Series, Anime, Mashups and evo/devolutions.

I loathe laugh tracks and look forward to the day where you can purchase old shows with them removed.

Food: Mostly anything. I have a strong distaste for fish and bitter. I quite enjoy (mostly Americanized) Chinese, Indian (Northern) and well prepared meat. Also too, Anthony's Pizza.
Six things I could never do without
Spell Check.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to get more hours into my day.

Why people can't seem to not be horrible to each other.

This game I may never actually write.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hard to say. The entire weekend is in flux. I could be at a party, training, bingeing a show on Netflix/Hulu/Crunchyroll or still at work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Through a series of comedic coincidences worthy of a Hugh Grant Romantic Comedy I met my wife due to OK Cupid.
You should message me if
You want to geek out about history, alt-history, sci-fi, fantasy, martial arts (western and eastern), games (Board Games, table top RPGs of the video sort ), the perils of your work seeming to be a pale imitation of someone with talent (imposter syndrome), cooking/food, human sexuality, social change. Most things really. How the Lions will once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

You are comfortable with the fact that I have a primary relationship and am 'All In', as they say, on it.

You've got an excellent suggestion for something I should be watching/reading/listening to so I can check it out.
