My self-summary
I spent 5 years traveling on broadway style shows as a technician, hence the username. Now I live in philadelphia and I'm stuck with the name. I've only been here a few months and am trying to get out in the nightlife and the excitement of this city.

I dont like being sedentary if possible. If there are things to do or events to be attended or people to have conversations with i'd rather be doing that. I like to think. I like finding culture in a city: galleries, farmers markets, coffee shops, book stores, concerts, high energy people, places to climb or be outdoors. Anything that makes me feel alive.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a theater technician, artist, photographer, vegetarian foodie, happy hour seeker, reader, live music enthusiest and wanderer.
I’m really good at
Staying hidden until i want to be found.
Saying the wrong thing.
Accepting challenges, filling up my time with exciting and stimulating events.
Staying busy.
Being positive energy in a room of negativity.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have a decent amount of red hair. On a windy day it's hard to avoid seeing pretty much everywhere.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read whenever i can. I read the NY times, historical biographies, off the cuff fiction. I just read 'Shop Class as Soulcraft'. Also recently read Wild by Cheryl Strayed and the Dinner by Herman Koch. I enjoy Tracey Kidder, Bill Bryson, Sara Vowell, David Sedaris and Erik Larson.

I watch movies a lot in theaters today. Indie, thought-provoking, foreign stuff, raunchy comedies, mainstream stuff. A little bit of everything.

I was a huge fan of the West West. Very thought provoking and fast paced. I watch stuff like the Newsroom, Shameless, Dexter, Parks and Rec. and Portlandia. I appreciate things that are well written and challenge the viewer. I like a challenge. I listen to a bit of "This American Life", "Planet Money", "The Moth", TEDtalks, and "Risk"

I'm a vegetarian but I like trying new dishes and foods from any culture. Thai, Indian, some good pasta, veggie rolls, anything really. I cook and bake when I'm home. I enjoy creating and replicating things in the kitchen. A good batch of chocolate chip cookies made late at a night with someone you care about is the best thing ever.
The six things I could never do without
Things to read
An exciting day plan
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Something to bake, an event that I could put on, what's going on this weekend, somewhere new I could check out, a good craft beer, a good dry red wine, something to take a picture of, somewhere to visit.

What I could do better.
What I'm doing wrong.
What you're thinking.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either out at a rehearsal for a show or looking for a place to grab a drink and a conversation.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have in the past...

You should message me if
You're interested in having conversations that exist in a coffeehouse or bar, or parks, museums, restaurants, or theater lobbies.

I have never been to a professional sports game in Philly. You have an option about where I should start.

You want to have a pointed discussion.

You know a super secret awesome farmers market you need to share with someone.

You've recently realized you need someone to help you fill up your weekends with exciting things!
