My self-summary
I have recently moved to MN from the Pacific Northwest and bought a little home with a big yard to create gardens. I sold the family home and scaled down to be closer to my daughter and family. I am also retired and enjoy eating healthy and moving more. Looking for opportunities daily is sometimes challenging in the winter, so I have been going to the local "Y" and walking through the snow on some beautiful wooded trails nearby. I enjoy my home, cooking and reading. I can walk to my local library.
It would be nice to enjoy some time together with someone who values family, friends, outdoors, and taking the time to get to know another.
What I’m doing with my life
Being open to opportunities to grow and learn daily. Making life easier for the people around me, looking for ways to help out when needed. Being appreciative of all I have been given in life.
I’m really good at
Making those around me feel heard and at ease. On a lighter side gardening and trail walking.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile and warm way with people. My countenance and presence. My natural, easy way with myself, radiating a simple openness that draws people to me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The Art of Racing in the Rain, Wild, many new authors I am getting to know. Lightly grilled Northwest salmon on my new outdoor grill (I do grill all year long).
The six things I could never do without
Healthy food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Making life easier for those around me. Also what a relationship would be like at this phase of my life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Enjoying the end of another great week. Relaxing....with you??
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My secret walking places.
You should message me if
You live near me. You want something real, not just a short-term connection or fantasy played out. Please....mean what you say and say what you mean!!!
