My self-summary
I grew up in St. Louis and spent 4 years in Chicago at college (being a film major). I've been back for a couple of years, but am hoping to move sometime down the line.

I'm kind of shy when surrounded by strangers but am very outgoing once I know somebody. I have a fairly dry sense of humor, but I make jokes of all types and love to laugh.

I love art, nature, and beauty of all kinds, but I'm addicted to music and film. I also love to read, but don't always find the time.
I make music, but I don't know if that's what I want to really do. I also occasionally write, and have been known to make a short film or two.

I'm an INTJ, which means a lot of things, but basically: in person, I will almost never talk to a stranger first, I like having plans, I look stoic a lot, and I think far too much.
What I’m doing with my life
Not sure right now. I guess figuring it out. I'm make music with my latop; I write on guitar and then fill it in. I'm also working, but I hate my job and am looking for something else, preferably in the arts.
I’m really good at
Talking, Listening, Useless Trivia, Making jokes, Sleeping, Waking up late, coming up with ideas
The first things people usually notice about me
If we're talking, then probably my sense of humor. Otherwise, whatever band is on my T-shirt or my face, I suppose. If my shirt is off, and my back is to you, then my tattoo.

I've been playing a lot of indie games the last year (which aren't necessarily listed here). Podcasts - I've been listening to a fair amounts of these lately, adding a good dose of comedy to my life. Here are my favorites: Comedy Bang Bang, How Did this Get Made?, The Flophouse, Filmspotting, The Bugle, Professor Blastoff, Improv4Humans, Giant Bombcast, Cane & Rinse, The Indoor Kids, Doug Loves Movies
Six things I could never do without
1. Laptop (and internet)
2. iPod (or some way of listening to music)
3. Learning
4. Food
5. Water
6. Shelter
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Useless questions; art; songs stuck in my head; metaphysics; my future; the last movie I saw.
On a typical Friday night I am
At a bar. At a concert. At a midnight movie. With a friend somewhere else. Staying in and watching something. Asleep.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have one tattoo and I'm planning on getting another soon.

Also, my only irrational fear is of death, but then again that might be rational.
You should message me if
You think I'm cute, you think that I sound interesting, you want to know more about me, or you want to meet and get a drink.

You want to start a shoegaze band with me.
